where is the best place to find REAL friends

I got friends that I still have it now, I found them at school and work. They are my classmates and officemates whom I still have communication even if we seldom see each other.

There is no such thing as a place to find REAL friends because for me, your real best companion/friends is none other than yourself. Because i do believe that no matter how many bad things that has happened on this day, at the end of the day you will just find out that you are just stuck inside your room with you and yourself. So try to make good friends with yourself for it will help you.

i think u can find friends just anywhere even at pubs but personally, i met my close friends from school bcuz we always get to see each other when we were classmates or school mates. ;)

I don't think there is a "specific" place, country, area, or even a demographic spot where you can find "REAL" friends. I think that REAL friends are not commodities. They can be found anywhere. I remember a quotation that a friend sent me ages ago, it said something like this: "Real friends are like rare gems that are hard to find. They cannot be sold over-the-counter and they are worth keeping for." You don't seek for these, I believe you find them when you need trustworthy and reliable people the most. As what I have told my fiance, if you find a true friend that sticks with you whatever circumstances you are in, then you should always find time to thank them and be grateful for them in your life because you may never know if they will be taken away from you by a turn of events. It's hard to find real, true friends but I guess it's when you need a hand the most and then someone's there for you and helps you out, that is when you'll know he/she's the real friend you were looking for.

hi elpagnier8, For me I can find real friends at home. The people around are my real friends. I also found that real friends since elementary until college. Just be true to yourself and be as what you are, a loving and respectful friend so that you can find your real friend, that through better or worse your their for each other.
