Hi asliah, new released cell phone with satisfied and functions and features is extremely expensive to me. I couldn't afford to purchase new product which I wish of often. I would be broke even if I get my cell phone changed once in a year. Unless there is someone willing to sponsor me
I have got a new cell phone as gift from my loved ones a month back. They were unbearable to see my old communication device which I had been using for about four years for the economical phone looked really indecent with the discolored right top part. Its speaker didn't work well too.
Have a nice day

I use to be this way as each time a new one came out I had to be the one to get it fast. Unfortunately I can't afford to this anymore. But I am really happy with my blackberry storm so really I do not need to right now. But who knows if finances get better I may return to my old ways. LOL...

I will never change my phone if it's not ruined. I buy cellphone for call and receive income call. I don't like new fashion phone or some new stuff because I rarely use them. In the other hand, I don't have much money to change my phone daily!

for many peoples it is a habit to change their mobiles many times in a year. But I do not change. Frankly within 7 years of my mobile use, I only used 4 mobile. Funny is that all my mobiles have been stolen. Otherwise my 1st mobile would be with me now;-

i change mine every quarter hahahaha.. not that i'm into cellphones but i get my stuff destroyed easily due to mishandling most of the time. there were times that it cant be thrown or fell from my bed and there was one time i forgot that i inserted it at the back of my pants and i was so drunk and forgot to remove it when i was about to pee.. so i was forced to remove it from our toilet bowl.
i'm not a texter.. i just use my phone to call my parents sometimes, use it for my alarm and listen to music..

I do not change my cellphone most often. I see to it to buy cellphone that I really like and hold it for at least years.I put sentimental value on the things I buy so it stays with me for longer time.

there was a time when i used to change my handset every 6 months or so a few years ago. that period saw me change my hadsets from Motorola L6 to Nokia 3250, Sony Ericsson W610i, Nokia N81 and then N82. this happened within a span of less than 2 years from early 2007 to mid 2008 (starting with Nokia 3250 as i had L6 before changing). then i used the N82 for almost 2 years before losing it on 19th July this year. i bought Nokia E63 after that which i again lost on 23rd October. since then i'm using a cheap Motorola W388. i don't intend on buying another expensive handset, not in the near future at least. actually i bought them for their features mostly which i utilized extensively with each handset.
i've never had the opportunity to use any handset till it's used up or ruined. some opportunity always came up which enabled me to change them so i changed.

Hi asliah, i never try to change my mobile phone. I have been using this cell for more than 5 years but very rear i will use it, of late i am using it for sending for sms to my friend. Otherwise i will not have much work with it, unless some one make a call my relatives or my friends but that is also very less. So my cell don't have chance to get spoiled, so i didn't changed it.

Hi dear,
Even I have the habit of changing mobiles. I think for the last 10 years, I have changed around 20 different handsets. But there is no time bound change. Whenever I get attract to a new model, I will change and use the one. I think the one currently I am using will not change for a long period. What I am using I think for me it is the ultimate and it has all, what I need. Hopefully at least for 2 years, I am not planning to change the handset.
Regards,
Thank-s

Well it will depend on person to person. Many people keep changing when they find new and attractive cell phone with better services. May be for some reason they are doing that. In most of the case may be there are the one who wants to keep up to date with the technology, have a easier and better and fashionable life. Though their budget would also matter in some manner.
In my case I don't change now and then until and unless the previous one is out of condition or so old to use. I may also buy a new one when the previous phone does not support some on new services which is kind of necessary to use.

Hello,
i know many people who keep on changing phones, they buy one then sell it and buy another one. I personally think its kind of irritating, because I get used to a phone, I mean the buttons, the features, and another phone i have to change the way i use a certain feature. I prefer having the calender entries contact as i set them, many errors occur during synchronization.
I have been using the n97 mini since a long time, I am kind of getting bugged by how slow it is, thinking of getting a 1 ghz or more powered android soon.
Regards
Sidd

. . .most of us people are still not contented of what
we have and we are fragrant to changes and reinventing
some other things. . as one using gadgets that we cant deny
that most of us uses gadgets. .
. . .we are responsible for any action that we did
and our addiction to some gadgets make us different
in a sense that we change it every time that we are
not being happy with in. of you are a typical type of person
who can afford to buy why not,
. . .for me for as long that the gadgets function well
i will not used to replace it,only if it is obsolete
and can no longer be used!
