Best way to travel?

I have 2 options of traveling. One is through the ocean; while the other is through the air. I've been thinking about this since I'd like to enjoy my vacation to the utmost I can. I was wondering if I could travel through the sea since I'll be able to enjoy the ocean and stuff. Plus, you get to spend time with the people you are with. I mean, you could literally enjoy the travel much more than when you ride a plane. On the downside, it takes longer to arrive at the destination and I'm a bit scared of the tides during a storm.
I'd like to hear comments and suggestions from you guys. What do you think?

Well it is depends on how much time you can spend for the journey actually. If you have a lot of time to spend then of course it is a good idea to travel by sea because you will then able to see more than riding a plane. But if you are in a rush then travelling by plane would be the best idea. Good luck and have a nice day

I kinda of agree with you that time is essential to almost everything you do but I still think that there are things you can only do during the trip and on the destination itself. The sea can be a very romantic place to be in which some places can be extremely fun.
Riding a plane can be extremely boring when you want to make the most of your trip but that depends on how you plan to spend it. Airplanes are for people in a rush but I do think vacations are never meant to be rushed. Well, that's what I think. :)
Thanks for the opinion, kodukodu

If that is a cruise and you are with your family, then I suggest that you go for it. That would be a nice experience. But if it simply choosing a mode of transport from origin to destination, then go by air. Enjoy every minute of it with your companions at the destination you have chosen. It feels great to be in a different place with someone close to you and doing the stuff you all enjoy.

Agreed! It is so much better to enjoy the travel with friends and family in the sea but when you only have to meet your friends on the destination flying would be the best option for you. Also, the difference in the environment can highly strengthen your relationship with the people around you. Being in the same place with the same people can deteriorate the chances of being closer or that's what I think. :)

Some years ago I travelled from Denmark to Sweden and Finland and I combined both kinds of transportation. I travelled by plane from Denmark to Sweden and I sailed from Sweden to Finland. Flying is a fast way to travel, but personally I prefer travelling by ferry. When I catch a plane I only see my destination, and when I travel by ferry I get the chance to enjoy the view while I am travelling. I really like that and I enjoy spending the time with my partner or my friends.

This is a really good question. I would say that if you think you will have more fun at your destination it would be better to go ahead and fly so that you can spend as much time there as possible. But I do agree with your points that you cold enjoy the actual travel more on the sea. The open sea is something that many people find really enjoyable. As far as the storms I wouldn't worry too much the chances that you will be in a really bad storm are quite small. In the end I think it just depends on who you are traveling with and where you are going but if you have the option and you think it will be more fun I suggest the sea!

Absolutely! As I have said before, the sea has various things to offer. The environment, the cool wind, the sound of the ocean, the animals, and even the romantic smell of the ocean itself. The storms can be quite a problem and can be far more dangerous than when you are riding a plane. I love the sea and yet I'm a little bit worried of what could happen but that's how life goes. You never win with taking any risks.

For me, I would love to travel by planes as I've always loved planes. Travelling in planes are a form of luxury for us to enjoy and to pamper ourselves.

The best way to travel is by car. By travelling by car, you see many landmarks and places while going to your destination. You can also do stopovers to buy souvenirs and food.

I think that going by ferry would be an exciting adventure. You could meet the other travelers and have some interesting chats. You could see some beautiful views of the sea and possibly some islands. You might have a camera to take some photos.
If you go by plane then the journey would be over too quickly. You would not have such a exciting time. You would arrive in just a few hours and have a reliable trip. My favorite way to travel is by train but I don't think you have the chance of that.
Have a wonderful and happy journey.

If it's a cruise ship then go for the sea route. However, if you're like me, I travelled alot during my college days via a ship back and forth from the school to my home during vacations. And believe me, the ship wasn't a luxury liner. It was an ocean transport vehicle that also served as cheap travel via sea route. I was lying in a hard bed with the crashing waves just within earshot and the sound of the engine gunning below me. If you're talking about THAT kind of ship then flying is a comfier alternative.
However, if it's a nice cruise ship. All aboard!

It depends. If you're in a hurry, you should ride a plane then, but if you're not, do otherwise. I usually ride a plane everytime I go on vacation and the cool factor of riding it is wearing off. I haven't ridden a boat years from now already and, I miss the feeling of riding it. Well, the boat also has it's cool factor and especially the sea breeze that makes you feel so welcome aboard. Don't worry about the storms, it doesn't bother much on the boat depending to what kind of boat you're riding on. That's just my opinion :)

I think the trip, actually happy or not key lies in with you to partner who is,perhaps say your destination is where, for in that way to travel,I actually think isn't that have important, because if your partner to the destination rightness, you of the journey is not boring, because when way time is very long, and your partner will accompany you to kill the time,or a journey is not smooth, think about the beautiful scenery of the destination, you will all cheer up,do you agree with me?

That is a really good question. Well the air is usually safer in my opinion, and very comfortable. Yet there is something about the sea that makes everything 'fun'. If you easily get sick though, I suggest flying. This is because flying is quicker, and less bumpy. Have a nice timee!
