I think this is a good gesture for a celebrity like him. He's been pretty active in charities. I know he has a foundation for street kids. I'm sure he'll be getting a lot of publicity for this, but as long as he genuinely helps people, that's pretty admirable.

I already know that Diether Ocampo has a heart for the poor people, so this doesn't amaze me anymore. I am just happy that even if we rarely see him onscreen busy with his showbiz life, he still has the money to share to the poor. He really has a good heart and i do hope a lot more of our celebrities here as well as those in the rich society will continue to bring joy to the poor especially this Christmas season.

I agree that it is good to know that some celebrities can behave in ways like this. There are many out there that just care about themselves or just do things for the attention, especially from the media, which is what they want. But then there are others who truly do have a heart of gold and will help others out without a hidden agenda. We need to have more people like these.
