What do you want to happen this upcoming year 2011?

I'm not very good with resolutions either, but what I'd like the most is to get a job that I actually enjoy doing (it would involve writing), and which pays enough for me to live on. I'd also like to read as many books as possible, go to the theater at least twice a month and learn how to dance. I wouldn't mind a bit of traveling either...

I want to be able to move in to a new house of my own this year. I've been paying for rent for 10 years and I think it's time I have my own house.

i wish that God will bless me with a baby next year... also, i wish my parents and my family will be healthy... i wish that me and my hubby can get a better job next year to support our family... and most importantly, we are in the process of making a decision whether to move back to our home country to set up a business or keep on staying here... we can only do our best, pray and leave the decision to God... He knows what is the best for both of us... take care and have a nice day...

I think you made some good resolutions. Try not to worry so much about your parents. You can only do what you can control. But I know how you feel. I want more than anything to make my parents comfortable for the rest of my lives. But that is not in my hands. My resolutions this year are to be kinder, more patient, and more understanding. I especially want to be more patient with my mother (who has dementia). She can get really mean, and instead of losing my temper, I want to have enough patience to remember it isn't her that is being mean, it is the disease that has ravaged her mind.

Go for it, Annierose. You deserve all of them. As for me, I just want to loose 5kgs of fat and to get more and more money. Apparently not from myLot.

Just hope i mature better,made the correct decision on the correct time,good health,good friends, less problems,hit lottery jackpot,everyone in family happy life and success and not bother me too much.Quiet peaceful little joy less problem will be nice.COuntry economic stabil and increase and the jackass dockey and animals in parliment will work better.

Hi!, Like you I always have a new year's resolution every start of the year but I always fail to do it. Now I don't want to have a new year's resolution too, I am just looking forward for some good things that may happen next year.

I am looking forward to a better future and financial stability. I have been working for most of my life and for about 13 years I have love my work. But such work was more of services oriented rather than for personal gain. I love the work but at this point in time that am already getting old. I am hoping that for this coming year and the incoming years, I will be able to secure a better future for my family.

i made one for last year and haven't check it yet. i forgot what i wishfully wrote to do/happen for this year. hahahaha.. im sure very little did i accomplish out from the list this time. it's nice to have one and make it private. just to make myself smile at the end of the year. i'll remind myself to make a new one after Christmas.

The same goes with me. I really don't make new year's resolution. For me, its a crap. 'Cause even if you state it without action, its useless. I do write the things or desires I have in the year ahead. I learned this technique in reading the January, 2010 issue of Readers Digest Asia. Half of my 2010 goals really came true. What I want to have in 2011 is a good health for me and my family to make the things we wanted, clear mind and vision and happiness! ;) And of course, WORLD PEACE!

I have simple but difficult to happen new years resolution.I have no longer a resolution to be like this or etc.I know I've made a lot of promises but I can not fulfill it.What I want is to minimize my bad attitude and learn to have patience.To respect others and listen good advices.To be more positive person and happy.I will try my best also to move on from my past failure relationship.To accept and forget and understand that there's person who were not meant for you.I want also, to give time and more bonded with my family because we just keep on fighting.For myself,I will try to be more responsible and independent.To wake up early and learn to manage time.For my family,I will do my best to be the one who will serve and take good care.To help them in works in house.And most of all, to give time to God because this year I can count how many times I've went to church and it very seldom. If i'll be given a chance to continue my studies, I will study hard and take it seriously.These things how I wish to change for better are very difficult to me.But, I will try to make it.

i am an older person. and i feel the same way about resolutions. i make them and it never seems to work out. so i have leardto just take it one day at a time. and to do the best that i can. just do what is right in your heart and it will come to you.

For me, new year's resolutions are not fit for anyone anymore. Most people make resolutions that they cannot fulfill. Few resolutions are only fulfilled. What I want to happen in 2011 is peace and prosperity. I also want myself to be more matured and developed for the next school year.

Few people make resolutions, and even fewer or close to zero actually keep them. Some for their resolutions say they will try to lose weight, so they'll go for a walk on new years day, and that'll be it for the year with the family. Its pointless to be honest. I don't reallly know what i want to happen in 2011, its so close to 2012.

Hello Annie, Even I am tired of making New year resolutions now and then letting go of them barely a month into the new year. Next year I haven't planned anything big. I am just thinking about working hard at my office and become a good professional in the first half of the year and then prepare for exams and get admission into a good University for my masters. Hello Annierose, You've got a great New Year plan to start with. ^_^ New Year's Resolutions are really hard to keep because it deals with our attitude and it's more subjective than having what we want to happen this 2011. I don't think I can accomplish as much as you want to happen for 2011.. All I want happen this 2011 would be prosperity and stability.. I want to have a stable job in a health care institution and to prosper in whatever jobs I will enter may it in the net or in my workplace. ^_^

Hi annierose, That is a good thinking and vision for this coming new year 2011. I hope and pray that all your wants are being given by God and success. In my point of views this coming 2011 just asking God to make more better than 2010, more strength how to face and overcome all set backs, problems, financial crisis and others this coming year if any. I want to have a debt free 2011. I'll start paying off my credit card and all the people I owe. Then give more time to people that really matters to me. And prioritize the things that need to be done first.Sounds simple. But it's hard.
