Do you remember being a student or was it not that long ago?

I only left 6th form recently, and then I had a gap year, and then i started my foundation year at university, with my link degree being history. I do miss being at 6th form, and especially high school, it was much easier way of life, back when you were in the first few years like in year 9, and 10, without having to worry about doing huge essays, and lots of work. Don't get me wrong I am enjoying being at university as its a new experience for me, that ive not done before.

I guess you can call me a student of all seasons. I just can't shed the mindset of being a student even though in my age I'm supposed to be a working girl and creating a career for myself. As a person, you really don't stop being a student or miss student life at any point of your life. School memories are sometimes very persistent in our memories - maybe because is a time where worries are often of coursework rather than life and responsibilities. besides, school life is almost always lax, fun and all about being positive for the future.

I miss high school too. The work was so easy I'd do it on the bus rides to school. And the harder the classes were the more your grades were worth because of weighted GPAs. I could seriously use that because I'm struggling and all I have is a 2.9. I really want to get a 3.0 before I graduate so I can be considered for good jobs. I was also a lot more involved in high school but I had no social life which I do thankfully have now. But mostly the work I didn't have to worry about. I stress about work quite a bit now. I'm afraid of the new term starting.

the last time i became a student is about 5 years ago... and i had not been studying anymore after that... i just concentrate on work and earning money to support my life... now i am jobless and in the process of looking for another new job... it is not an easy task because i kept on being rejected despite of having send so many applications everywhere... i missed my student life... i think it is much simpler and better than a working life... take care and have a nice day...

I do miss my high school days, especially my last year in high school, when I was preparing for the major exam, GCE O levels. Along the way, from first year to the last year, it was smooth-sailing for me, all the teachers cared about me and most importantly, in first year, I had a good form teacher who realized my potential, which the ones in primary school didn't. In my first year of high school, I got highest in English every term and that really makes me feel good, as finally, there was a teacher who realized my potential and my writing ability. Over there, I got acquainted with my closest friend, who has been together with me and still, up till now. I really miss those days and in my third and last year, my form teacher was changed to another teacher. This teacher was also as good as my first and second year's form teacher. It was a 'He' and this teacher taught my class accounting. He was a caring teacher, basically always looking out for students in need of help like me, and even offered tuition during the holidays. I really admired him, for his passion in teaching.

It;s been years when I left school. I still remember those nights when I cram for exams and try to put everything in my mind. And when examination day comes, I remember the feeling of squeezing my brain for answers and hoping that my guesses are correct. I remember endless projects, done alone and with groups and researching especially since the internet was not of much use before, when we use to have floppy disks instead of flash drives and so on and so forth. But also, I remember enjoying those times I've done student work with friends and new people, enjoying life and hoping that the day comes when I won't be doing any school work anymore. But now, I miss those times.
