what will you do if you fail an exam in college?

The parents are sometimes the most serious problem. I can still remember my high school years. My father was severe and wanted to see only the best grades. So I made a whole strategy, I was watching the teachers and I knew when I could expect an examination. In my years in the university we were gathering information about the professors from the older students. It was important to know exactly what books to read for the exam and the professor's preferences.

You are saying even the best students can fail, so my assumption is that all best effort and attempts were already taken. So I can only recommend is to perhaps seek some tutoring and or counselor to advice for additional help.

Well, though it's really sad to fail an exam, what can we do? 1. To appeal. Hope there's a mistake in the marking. 2. To resit for the paper, especially if it's a compulsory subject. 3. To ignore it, if it's not a compulsory subject. I did fail two exams in college before, I was really sad, nothing much I could do but just to study harder in order to pass the exam the next time. I suppose paying attention in the class, doing more practices, studying more or discussion with lecturers or college mates can help.

You are correct. Not all best succeeds and not all worst fails! Everything's fair i believe. It only depend on how a students prepares for an exam. One should really be studying hard for it and should put every words read to mind and should know it by heart. So when he/she comes across a certain word the whole phrase will be easy to know and can get the answers right away. You just have to really prepare for the exam so as not to fail. Don't get too stressed as well, just relaxed and pray :)
