How did you decorate your house for this Christmas?

My husband and I didn't decorate the house this year. We are going to move soon and there are boxes and things everywhere, and we decided that we didn't want a christmas tree and any other decorations this year. I had some beautiful chritmas decorations that my mother has made, but my ex-boyfriend kept them when we broke up, and I only have a few christmas decorations for the house. I would like to buy some more decorations next year when we have moved, I would also like to buy some lights so that I can decorate the house outside. Many people in our neighbouthood have decorations outside the house and some of them are really beautiful.

I decorated my house the same as every other year. I have lights in the front window and about a 6 foot Christmas tree. Also most of my neighbors did there same decorating. I defintely am the most conservative Christmas decorating in my neighborhood. My neighbors have big santas and reindeer on their front lawn. So for me Christmas is as any other year.

First of all, we cleaned the house, that we do any way all the time. We decorated the house with small Christmas toys llike small Santa, giner bread man, snow man, etc. We also put up the Christmas tree with lights and put all the gifts below the Christmas tree. I had a great time shopping for all the gifts for the family. I love shopping.

This year for Christmas we decorated our house with lights on top of the house. Then we put some inflatable snowmen in the front yard. Finally, we put some Christmas lights over the shrubs in our front yard. It looks so festive!

well i was not the one who really decorate our home..i just helped, my dad and my brother was the ones who really decorate our house and i can say that sometimes men really rocks on decorations instead of us women!! but of course not all the time!!=))

At my house we put a tree outside and children from the neighbour hood put something on it with their name on it and on christmas day my nan choses somebodys decoration and they win what ever the prize is. :) Also we put lights up by the house like iceicals from the porch :) x have a great christmas and keep up the great posts x

to be honest with you, i hardly decorate my house during christmas because i am just too lazy to do it... i usually have my annual holiday from late november to mid december... that's why i usually come back near christmas time from holiday and i just too tired to bother decorating my house... take care and have a nice day...

Every year, my family puts up a Christmas tree on our living room. It's artificial though since it's warm here in the Philippines. Everyone who sees that tree gets amazed by it. It's nine-feet high, and my parents really decorate it well since Christmas is a big deal for them. There's a lot more decorations inside. We have nativity set and a lot of Christmas wreath. Outside, we have lights decorating our gate.

I put up a little tree. I bought a real one, but it is a small potted tree, maybe a foot or so tall. Maybe I will put up the artificial mini trees I have, and the manger. I bought some battery powered lights, but they did not work too well on the real tree, so I put the bigger lights on it that are meant for a bigger tree. lol. It looks pretty when it's lit. When it's not, it looks like the poor tree is being strangled by the light string! I love Christmas. It is fun to decorate. Maybe next year I will get a bigger real tree. I love the smell of the pine tree at Christmas. It smells so fresh. This year I didn't do much decorating.

To be honest. We did not decorate at all. I did manage to get all my shopping almost done and I am exhausted.

We've set-up the Christmas tree with some lights around it. We also made sure all of the gifts are under the tree and the kids usally gather around to see if they already have one for themselves. We had lights outside of the house as well and a few lanterns to make it look more beautiful. We usually have a family re-union every Christmas day and we are trying to make it more meaningful and special this year.
