I use to buy lots of shoes but haven't been buying so many for the last few years. I guest I can look at it I have not spent or I save money from not buying them. The economy have me doing things I would do in good time I just hope I can keep it up and not return to old habits. The retailer are saying that business was up Black Friday and that their online business did well. With the economy the way it is it seem like we are still in a recession at least where I live there is a recession going on. Do this whatever the people who run this country are calling it (recession/not) have you changing your spending habits?

I had to cut back on buying shoes too. It broke my heart to do so. I am very fond of high heels. I think it is a psychological thing ( am only 5 foot 4 inches tall flat footed). It was not so much the down turn in the economy but my own feet turned against me. I developed plantar facialitis, so now I can only wear my heels on special occasions and to church on Sunday morning. It is rather strange that I had such a passion for high heeled shoes, cause I hated wearing shoes period. I have to wear them into public places, so I figured I may as well have pretty little shoes to strut about in. To answer your question, yes, the changes in the economy that I believe are in part to blame on the government officials, has caused me to cut back on my spending. They aren't to blame for my lack of shoe shopping, but there are many other things that I have had to sacrifice and not spend as much money on.

Yes, we all have to make some changes. The government is always seeing some positive outlooks or pointing to some positive outlooks, I haven't seen any yet. He needs to show me where he is looking.

I am constantly changing my spending habits especially on shoes.I love shoes.to be honest,I love branded, expensive shoes.I like thrift store clothes, but for my shoes I have to have the expensive ones.I have my signature shoe styles that I look in every shoe store I go into.to save on money,I choose shoes that I can use in more ways than one.my shoe styles are the versatile ones, like a nice pair of flat Mary Jane shoes.I can wear it to the office and during weekends with casual clothes.

I have cut back on a lot of things since we retired. I have RA and it makes some things difficult. My shoe size varies day to day, depending on the time of day so I prefer a tied shoe.
