Hello Lotters, I just had the recent time being active here after spending the WHOLE day with my family as they have visited our house this afternoon. of course, mom had my brother's maid cook a lot of food for the Noche Buena Meal. We didn't do much Last night since I spent the Whole Christmas Late morning merely to Mylot alone. Afternoon came, siblings and their kids started coming in. Having this Normal Family meal and kids playing. they were some exchange gifts from each other too. but the thing that surprises me is that they also had a gift for me. Frankly, am not expecting anything because I am just happy that my Computer is intact this Christmas Season. I don't know, but some how my Elder Brothers knew what I want but something I didn't really think getting at. First, my Eldest brother gave me a 4 Gigabyte Flash Drive. Of course, am happy because my old Flash drive (which is 2Gig) is supposed to be not working. I was about to give my brother my old one but he had me tested it first, and miraculously, It work. that makes me having two Flash Drives, am not the type of person who uses it now a days unless i had to have some one mp3 to convert into CD. Second, My second Elder brother gave me a Mini Computer Vaccum to clean up the dust from the fans or the keyboard. there is a problem though, i can clean up the keyboard but i can't vaccum the fan with out turning it off. if i turn off the CPU, the mini vacuum won't work, but it's important though so am happy. I didn't expect anything at all but am glad i got something important this Christmas. there's no time for complaining when it's already there. What ever you got this Season, just be grateful. Have a Great Day

Element of surprise is synonymous to Christmas. You'll never know you would receive something totally unexpected. It works for you it will to others but the secret is don't expect anything. Goodluck mylotters!

Hello Lance26, Well, one thing about synonymous is that I didn't expect anything at all. What concerns me is what should I give them that Holiday time. But I wasn't expecting a lot from them since they've given me a lot. My eldest brother provide me a monitor, kept fixing my pc and added fan to my CPU. My PC is almost four years by now and am glad I have a brother that has helped me maintain it.

That's right. Christmas is full of surprises. After all it's about giving without expecting something in return. Your brothers are more than happy seeing you happy with those presents of yours.

hi Letran Merry Christmas, guess yours is over but I am in the Us so today is Christmas. My best Christmas gift was my son spending all afternoon and evening last night with me, and hearing he will get three days of work at his parttime jpb instead of just one, every day he can get will help that much. Its so much harder on a guy to be out of work than we women. The most wonderful gift for me would be to see him get that reallly great job, one in his field computer programming.I would also like to see all our jobless here in the US get decent jobsa.

Ms. Hatley, I will be very busy today as I will get to see my children today, we are having a nice dinner together. I popped in to post a few but could not resist to leave before I wished you the grandest day. Letting you know that you have been so wonderful to me with your kind words of wisdom. My prayers for your son and you are still going strong honey, as I wish all of unemployed could get back on our feet. God Bless you Ms. wonderful Hatley.

Hello Hatley, Thank you for the Greeting. I guess but any time it would be just over to you're place. Spending with the Family has been the best gift for people who had been spending with each other. It's nice that children or sibling visits you or not when ever the time suits or available to them. Wow, I didn't realize three days off work is such a big deal there too. Have a great day.

Hello Lingli, Well, More like blessed having elder brothers that really care, even though sometimes, I can be too selfish for my own comfort. But I never really demanded anything from them though. And I didn't go much to church since but I was happy with the Blessings I've been given and probably the Trials too.Have a Great day.

Talking about being grateful, let me also share my story. Being in the call center industry, we are a group of those souls who needs to go to work on Christmas day. Maybe because it is Christmas we are treated to a free microwavable pack lunch. And you know what is in it? It's just plain rice and already chopped fried chicken fillet! Since it is Christmas, a lot of my colleagues, (me included) expect the dinner to be a bit mouth watering and exciting to the eyes and to our palates as well. It also goes with a small size of C2 tea drink. We could not help but compare it to what we had last year. Back then we had something like a three course dinner complete with dessert. Now, it seems the company is scrimping on their budget. Everytime I hear about the complaints and side comments about the dinner, I tell them that I also agree but we just need to be grateful of what is given to us. It is still a blessing.

Hello StarGazer, Yes, I have been to that Call Center Industry before. But we didn't have these exchange gifts, rather have the party but we receive some sort of a good gift after that time. Well, I think it's not a joke when a company spends something expensive dinner and then employees doesn't appreciate it. As for me during that year end celebration, I was happy with the food, entertainment but I didn't like singing of course. Have a Great day.

Christmas miracles to happen. I live with my daughter and this holiday wasn't going to happen at all here, that was what we were looking at since Thanksgiving. Just very difficult here in the US to make ends meet and then come up with some extra for gifts. First the church I help now and then surprised us with a gift of a ham and food to go with it. That will be our meal today. The dryer here has been broken since this summer, so I took money I made online all together and bought a used dryer for them. They were able to at the last moments find some extra money and bought some gifts. I told them I would rather see it go to them, since they work so hard with the jobs they have. They still bought me some gifts this holiday. That was my Christmas surprise this year. See I was happy to know we still have a home, that we would be sharing a nice meal together to have an all around good day together.. It is nice now and then to be surprised... brings such joy and smiles..

Hello Youreyes4Today, I just couldn't believe people are really saving a lot in the US, I guess dryer there is very important since it's a bit cold there this Season. Well, gifts doesn't really have to be expensive of sorts. It's probably something they want and worth remembering. Well, it's also still a blessing to have a home, a lot of people now a days have a hard time paying rent to their land lord or being restricted on some ones home. Have a great day.

Hello Hardworkinggurl, Wow, thank you and I appreciate that even though you're so busy with things still have time to sneak around and post here. Yeah, I had a wonderful time but the kids were truly the great thing. But of course, I wasn' t all that tolerant since they get to be too much at most most specially when they want to explored places in the house.. well, am glad you got you're positive things in you all along. Don't let this negative thing brings you down. Have a Great day.

Hi sweetie. Sounds like nice gifts and it is the thought that counts not the gift. Hope you had a great time with your family. TATA.

Hello Saphie, Yeah, the thought really counts, I never receive gifts from any of my former friends and former school mates. It seems that I have forever been forgotten by those people, which didn't matter to me anymore since I am happy most of the time with the life I have Now. Have a great day.

Glad to hear that from you I am wondering about the mini vacuum that you were talking about. So what would be recommended to clean the fan of CPU if the mini vacuum won't work?

Hello Metatronik, I already have another REAL Electrical Vacuum, but it's only 110 voltage that I needed an old fashioned transformer to make it work otherwise, it couldn't have worked for sure. But am still considering this mini vaccum, at least it's something I can do for the keyboard. Thanks for you're time and Merry Xmas.

Hello Catch, Well, that is still something for me to think about though since I still haven't told her but if I get my pay out next year, that's the Q where I can get Meng meng. Actually, I have been wanting to have a four gigabyte flash drive before but never that good in my money. These gifts are something I can remember from them since they knew how much I value my computer.
