It is true Australia demolished for 98, their lowest total on M.C.G., by England in 4th Ashes cricket test match underway here at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne in just 42.5 Overs. England won the toss and put Australia in to bat and soon started to reap the rewards on lively pitch. They lost their 1st wicket on 15 and it was a procession then after loosing important wickets one after another. Only five batsman reached double figure and none could cross 20. All 10 wickets fell caught behind with wicket keeper Matt Prior taking six of them. It is a pathetic display of batting by home side their worst on this lovely stadium. We now have to look forward how England faces the devil in the pitch.

boxing day test has turned out as an unlucky one for australians. they were all out under 100 runs, just for 98. i think matt prior has been doing fair keeping for england in recent past. surely english team has grabbed the chances very well, it good cricket from england team. australians tried to play aggressively and paid the wicket every time. now all otu for just 98 runs this will defenitely give england the upper hand. if england wins here then surely aus will under tremendous pressure.

Yes venkit England has taken the full control of the match and they are poised to win the match at least they are not going to loose from here. with only one match to go, England sit pretty to win the series.

i don't really understand much about cricket... in fact, i don't really like to watch cricket as it is not one of my favourite sport... but since i live in australia, i feel bad for the result as well... may be boxing day is not a good day for australians to play cricket... :-) anyway, i hope australia can do better next time... take care and have a nice day...

Look, the same team who had taken upper hand on Australia are now bouncing back. What looks obvious is that England could make it to the winning and what would be the fate of the cup?

ya i also heard that Australians were all out for just 98 runs and england has cleared her path for winning this test match but they will have to play very very carefully because opposing team Australia can any time turn the tables and can be heavy on england and grab this test or try to draw this test. If they succeed in doing this than it will be the worst situation for the english men.
