I was sleeping the middle the afternoon(I work in the night shift okay) everything is peaceful I am having a wonderful dream, I am flying, How awesome is that? Suddenly I heard noises, there seemed to be a fight outside, I checked the window and i saw female neighbor of mine beating the crap out of her male cousin. How did the fight happened/ well this neighbor of mine just gave birth and she gained a lot of weight, basically whenever an old friend or family saw her 9 months her pregnancy, people kept on saying "wow you gained a lot of weight' whenever people who didnt saw her for along time see her, they kept on saying she gained weight, she got sick of it cause people kept on noticing that she gained weight. She got a visit from her cousin, her cousin greets her "long time no see" Then he noticed she gained weight, so he joked that she gained weight. he didnt know she is tryign to keep her patience because people keep on saying she gained weight right on her face. She cant take it anymore because she got sick of people calling her fat..(she is a former Pageant girl) so she beats the crap out of him.

wow, what a scene in the street right? Well, I guess that girls hate people to call them fat no matter what. People should keep their silence, and discuss it behind her back. Even though she is obviously fat, we shouldn't say it out loud. That is the same I would do for my female cousin when she got pregnant.

I wonder why some people cant help calling out if they notice a woman gained weight. I remember a teacher of mine told me 2 things you should not as a woman is her age and her weight. Now I am starting to realize it.

That's true... Still, I wonder why some women can't help asking about their weight as well It's quite tricky if they are obviously on heavier side. I don't mind anyone's being fat, but they do! I'll be interested only if risks their health...

She might have really got her feelings hurt cos people keeps on calling her fat and she had enough of it. That situation seemed to be okay now. I think people will stop calling her fat now.

Hi Albert, Poor girl. I know how she feels because I have always been very tiny. A few years ago I put on some weight due to some meds I was on. I think it was because I was so very tiny before that it was very noticeable. I wasn't huge or anything but I was self-concious and it seemed everybody and their brother had a comment to make about it. You say your neighbor used to be in pageants so I'm sure it is the same with her. I wouldn't go beating anyone up over it but it does make you feel bad. I don't know why people can't see that their words can be hurtful but apparently they can't. I work in a store and if I have a zit....you can bet that I will hear about it all night long. I don't get it. I can't imagine going up to someone and pointing out something obvious that I'm sure they are aware of and can't instantly do anything about. what is the point in it other than to make them feel bad. People!! Hope things calmed down and you were able to get back to your sleeping.

OMG! My little brother did that same thing. I had way more zits than he did and just dealt with it. My kid brother got one zit on his otherwise perfect skin and he didn't want to leave the house for days.

speaking of zits, I remember when i was a teen I didnt go to school for 3 days because of a zit, I tried to fake a fever just to skip school because I dont want to be seen with a big zit in my nose. LOL

i am a woman and i don't like it as well if i have to hear people keep on telling me that i am too fat... at some stage, i might break down as well and lose my control... may be that is what happen to your neighbour... it is just too bad that your sleep and sweet dreams have to be disturbed because of that... take care and have a nice day...

How about your age, Do you like it when people ask you what is your age and what is your weight? I think people also have the tendencies to do that with women even though they know women dont like that.

It's quite common to notice when someone gains weight (though it seems easier in case of a woman, why?) but there's no need to always tell it right away. Especially after pregnancy women get heavier, sensitive too. I won't condemned that cousin but a lot of other people could have kept quite. I don't remember I showered my sister with 'nice remarks' on her weight after birth of my nephew My sympathies with you on interrupted sleep. I love sleeping, and can understand how bad it feels....

Sleeping is like meditation to me, So yeah it kind asucks to have my sleep being interupted. I do atmit I did some puns to my sister when she is pregnantnand she hits my head with her hands, LOL..l. So yeah I wont mess withpregnant and women who just gave birth. At least she didnt beat me like the woman did to her cousin.

Oh dear, it is really insensitive when people tell that to a post pregnancy mother. After birth, womens hormones tend to go haywire and they get very sensitive especially about their appearance. Hope the cousin is ok.

I dont know if its post natal depression because she is really mad, I heard that people cheerfully calls her fat as a way of greeting her and people have no idea that its hurting her feelings.

Hello Capt.Albert, Well i hate it when early in the morning some of my neighbors keep shouting like no one is sleeping how inconsiderate :(. Maybe the girl really pissed off when people call her fat one or notice that she gained weight well she cannot blame them coz people can't help not to notice her it's just she can't accept it. When my family calls me fat one i just smile at them and say well mom don't want me to get thin so she keep the fridge full always :D.

I dont know why people have tendencies to call out a woman for gaining weight, I guess it is something unrespectful to do for some of them. I do have tendencies to joke around to a woman i know when she gained some weight, but I think i will just keep it to my self. She just gave birth so i think that also triggers her to be hot headed. Yeah the fight ruined my sleep , I heard lots of screaming and the neighbors did nothing, they just watch.(I just watched too, I dont want to be involved.)
