Learning New Word Each Day Here In Mylot

I can't say I am learning new words but I certainly can say I hear of words that I have not heard in a very long time. One of which someone posted the word interject. Although I have heard this word numerous times, I certainly have not heard used appropriately like I did the other day here on myLot. The English language for me comes easy and I will never complain while others are learning but every now and again when I see it use so appropriately it makes me very proud of the person.

Besides earning,i improve my vocablary and grammer on mylot, also i get many knowledge abou every subject, i learn many new words after joining this site. that's why i love mylot.

hi Lance I am so glad you are finding all the good things about mylot ' and it seems to help you too, which is also good. I am learning to compose my thoughts better before putting them down. I have a large vocabulary as I majored in English a zillion years ago but I find new expressions from my friends around the world and I enjoy learning from'all of you in my old age. I cannot think of a word right now as I am suffering from a cold and am not feeling so great right now.if English is your second language I must say you express yourself really well and you should be proud as you are making great discussions.

Yes You right about that, cause I was from Asian country. The english langue was not my primary langue, and in here I found lot of new words that I haven't hear yet or if I ever hear I still confuse to write it.

hi, i learned every day here in mylot, because every day, my fellow mylotters posted different topics, and sometimes they shared their thoughts and advice.

I have only been on mylots for about two days and I love it. I love writing and I would love to be a writer if I could figure out what to write about. Writing has been a passion of mine for a long time. But I love mylots and love making friends even though I haven't made any friends on her yet, but I am sure I will because I love to chat and write so the last few days I have been on here almost all day after everything else is done. I am glad i found mylots.

i had learn a lot of new vocabulary from here as well from the first time i join this site... but i can't remember any word that i had learn so far at the moment... my english language and writing skills had definitely improved a lot as well ever since i joined this site... take care and have a nice day...

I did not learn many new words here. However, there are many stories that have truly impacted my learning. Besides earning money, mylot did contribute to my learning of new things too.

Hi Lance, myLot is quite different. Different in many respect from those other sites that help us to earn money. Earning money is just one facet of multifarious benefits that we derive here. I came across so many good discussions and comments that I was compelled to silently appreciate their beauty both in respect of concept and language. You are not the only one, I am also with you who learn new things including new words here in myLot. I consider the money I earn here as bonus. I really enjoy my time here though sometimes due to some compelling reasons I am not able to visit here regularly. Happy mylotting

Hi Lance, Mylot does not pay you only, indirectly though it teaches a lot of things parallelly. And not only new words we come across different sentence structures, use of ornamental language, synonymous words and many more as well. And above all it en-reaches your command over the language.

As far as I am concerned, I think staying in mylot is a good for us to learn new word there. For me, I think I can not say which new word I came to meet, But I do sure that sometimes I will meet a word that is unfamilar to. Then I think it will be a chance for me learn about it.Just stay with mylot, and a lot more knowledge with gain with yourself there.

Hello Lance, here i learned a lot. First of all i learned to talk more with the others, who use English. My boyfriend can't believe that people understand me when i write here He finished English High School and know the language as first, i could study it in the children garden in school, but that was not my profile i just loved practicing, nothing more. I still don't know a lot, i use the way we arrange the sentences in Bulgarian language and this is how i make my sentences in English, so for him it's hard to believe that someone understand what i mean. I learned a lot of words here, but the most liked from me is it word "behavior". I try to use it as much as possible, where the word fits. It became my favorite one

I'm not in mylot on a daily basis, and i can't say i have learnt a lot of new words here. I can say i do learn a lot of different things in here, learn how to read people according to their comments and posts. There are not much big words in here whereby it's new to me, because everybody is trying to make it simple for easy understanding.

I agree with you, this site really offers big help. You can get a lot of advices, news, tips on earning extra money, and learn/discover new things! When I started joining this site, I felt so much exposed to things I didn't even expect to know. MyLot became a part of my daily routine. And it not only helps you get much details, it also helps you make lots of new friends! :) And I think I'd rather stay here getting paid through every action I make than stay and stare blankly in Facebook without getting any benefits at all. I hope our community expands more.

Hi Lance, In my case, it is not only learning new words, it is also knowing new ideas here in mylot. I am not a native English speaker so there are "slang" words some may use here that gives me a little sting in the forehead, doubting if I understand it right. I have learned idiomatic expressions too but only the usually or frequently used words, phrases and expressions only. Anyway, I am thankful for being here in mylot because I can improve my English by reading and responding to discussions.
