Hi All,
Ringtones are based on age group of user. like if 10 to 20 yrs guy having funny or some movie song as RT. 20 -30 yrs guys having either movie or some normal RT. if you see a business men or some manager of a company they use normal ringtone or default RT of handsets.
i have seen many times in my company all managers having default or silent RTs.
they never used any other RT.
thanks
Sunil

Actually, that's not completely true. I'll be 40 in about a week & I have 2 jobs. In one job, I am in a management position & in the other job, I work as a translator. Little over 20 years I've been using a cell phone, I haven't had default ringer in about 15 years. Most of my co-workers are the same.

Mobile ring tones are important for in many occasions they give hints of the personality of the owner of the cellphone.
Earlier I used to keep on changing my ringtones but now do not do so. I have almost stuck to one particular ring tone only.

Greetings!
I don't change my ring tone. It depends. When I have a cuter ring tone I'll use it. Then after a month I'll change it.

I have a different ring tone for each person in my phone. I also have their picture so when they call I know who it is. I've never purchased a ring tone because my phone came with some so I just use those. When you call my phone it has a ring tone but nothing special. I know people that change theirs all the time, too much work.

Hi asliah, your father has done the most appropriate thing. I expect to the same thing when I would be granddad. Actually to a granddad/mother his/her grandson/daughter is more adorable than their own offspring. There exist a special bond between these two generations that only they can understand and enjoy. What I am saying is from my own personal experience. But at that time there was no cellphone for my granddad to record my voice to use that as the ringtone.
I seldom do change my ringtone. Once settled are hardly changed. However, I have separate ringtones for some frequent callers to identify without having to look at the number to know who is calling and that helps me lot. I can easily decide the importance of the call and act accordingly. But I am not against changing ringtones, but whatever is chosen must not be disturbing to others. In some cases I did have experience that is far too short of a pleasant one.
Wishing a happy time

I have I /an Only Imagine by Mercy Me. It only took one time of me hearing it, that I feel in love with it, and when I found that I could put it on my cell phone, then I did just htat. I don't intend to change my ring tome either, as I like it to much to change it. I have tried other ringtones, but I do like the one I have on my phone, the best. Take care, and have a very good day. Hi asliah,
Strange, but I think I was the only one who recorded the voices of my two kids to remind me of incoming text messages. One voice for each service provider so I can tell which line has an incoming message. It has been that way since I acquired my new cell phone six months ago.
My call alert is from my music composer though. It is a sound of an emergency siren like an ambulance. I always jump at it whenever it sounds, just like an emergency does.

I use my ring tones my boyfriend's favorite song.
There's even a special ring tone to let him be different.
