favourite mode of transportation

I believe nothing beats your own mode of transport like your own car or any vehicle you own. I am never keen on trains in the UK, as I have not been that familiar taking them to any of my journeys. I'm a frequent bus commuter here but in my home country, I prefer those "FX" taxis because they take me to my destination a lot easier and directly there. I have been on an airplane a few times and I must admit it's not that nice to be on either. So my vote goes to the car, or your own vehicle.

cars are the best mode of transport. in trains, you have to be beside someone you do not know and he may have just came back from and exercise and may smell bad. it is almost the same story in buses. only that in buses, you are always squeezed to the limits. motorcycles just fall over all the time and taxis stink of diesel. my car is my baby. you grab the keys, you get in, sit down, turn the engine on, turn on the air-con, open a can of coke, place it in the cup holder and drive away. how relaxing it is to own a car. it is certainly the best and safest way to travel around town comfortably.
