When I was little I often use to go to my relatives house for 15 days or 1 month. As I grown up, I stopped to go everywhere. Now I am not feeling comfortable to stay in others house.
Do you like to go to your relative's house?
How often you meet your relatives?

@spaceseed Yeah, and you'll never know - he (or she) may show up out of the blue some day... These discussions are open for responses and comments at no time limit anyway...

when I was young I used to have vacation to my aunts house and play to the max with my cousins.. but yes as we grow old of course its a little bit awkward maybe a 3days visit will be fine but to stay there for half a month or few months might loose them thier privacy and as we grow old we get to know this and that thing...

The thing is, when we small all are considering as small kids. As we grow old we should follow certain rules in our life, and can't behave like small kids may be that is the reason.

I too stay in relatives houses for a few days to a week only when i was young. But when i grew up i try to think of reasons not to go there. I am not comfortable traveling anymore in going to relatives houses and staying at there house. I feel like there are less to do when im with them. Maybe we all have the tendency to change with these kinds of matter, we just don't get along with others even with relatives because we rarely see them and because we are more comfortable staying with our own immediate family and own home.

As kids it is always fun to stay over a relatives house for long term days. It is like an outing and or vacation.
Once we become adults we sort of feel like we are overstaying our welcome and also that we are no longer the cute kids anymore so they have their routines.
So overstaying sort of ruins their routines, as well as we also have different interests.
