I've been one of those who said, "I don't do Facebook" for quite some time but while tweeting the other night - yes, I've gotten into that too - something came up that I clicked on and I ended up opening a new account. I'd had one years ago but hadn't bothered with it at all. Anyway, I was immediately amazed at how many friends I found from high school, people I hadn't seen or heard from for like 40 years. My daughter and both of my grandkids are on there too so that's nice. I'd be happy to be friends and to follow anyone here on myLot that is also on Facebook or Twitter! Annie

I joined Friendster and absolutely HATED IT!! The only people who friended me were from the Philippines and I could never find anyone I knew or even from my state there. I closed my acccount. I didn't join FB at first because of that experience, although I am on MySpace. But, then someone else I knew got on FB and they were someone who didn't usually join things like that, so I decided to join and I've re-connected with so many people from my past!! I love it. I used to play Farm Town and Farmville, but now I don't do any of that - I just play Lexulous, Word Drop and Mah Jhong. I'll PM you with my full name there.

I haven't played any of the games yet but I've heard some of them are fun. I'll have to check them out. It seems like my entire high school class is there, many of whom I haven't seen since 1970. It's so much fun to reconnect and catch up. Annie

I used to feel the same way as you. Then I joined and now I love seeing what past friends are up to and looking at pictures from friends and family on Facebook. It's a great way to see what's been going on in everyone's life.

I haven't gotten into any games yet. I've been going back and forth between myLot, Facebook and Twitter so I haven't had time so far. I'm sure I will eventually though, when there's more time. Annie

ADD ME ADD ME!!!!!!! I'm not really what you call an addict but I am on it. I have had people crawling out of the wood work, people I haven't even thought about in decades. I even found my first childhood best friend, we met when we were 3 and were best friends until I moved out of state at 15. I have also come across (but not added) people I didn't get along with as a kid or a teen, or was picked on a lot by... and it is quite cathartic to see the sorry shape some of them are in today *giggle* Anyway, message me your email address there, I'd be honored to add you if you are so inclined.

I know what you mean, I've reconnected with people I hadn't seen since high school or even longer ago no to mention other old friends I'd lost touch with. I hope you're able to fine me there...lol! Annie

Hi there Anniepa! I remember Friendster whenever I hear stories like that. Before, my cousins were asking me if I have a friendster account and I tell them that I have no idea what they were talking about. Finally, I gave in and created one and I was like Hansel and Gretel the first time they saw the house made of candies. Well, I found many old friends, reconnected with them and I was just addicted to it. After a while, I grew tired of it though and became less and less active. I had Myspace and Facebook accounts but do not really use them. Just tried to sign up and then did not visit the site again. Then, I noticed that more and more of my friends starts to ask for my Facebook account and when I revisited the site, it's Hansel and Gretel once again. The thing is that there are more ways to interact with friends without having to visit their page or wall every time. The applications are things to love about it too. It's also much easier to search for old classmates and co-workers, and even neighbors. I'm also on Twitter. My username is nanayangel. I'll follow back. Welcome to Facebook! :)

My boyfriend siad the same thing. Until, I begged him to make an account. He started talking to all of his old friends. Now, he is hooked. He acts like our relationship is based off it. It's kind of annoying.
