Life is like a game

Would you agree that life is just like a game? It has its own up and down moments, some parts when you have to give a choice, some where you win and you lose some. But in the end, you’ll only have two options:
The first is to quit the game. In life, there are moments when they think they’re stuck in a situation they couldn’t move on but there is always a way to solve those things. However, people often mistake them as the easy way out, for example, stealing. People tend to think that its easier to steal because you won’t get caught or its less trouble than to work. Another part of this is drinking. Thinking that it is an escape from reality, some drink just to have that escape but then, tomorrow morning, the problem is still there isn’t it? They are afraid to face it head on because they don’t want to lose.
The second option is to live and keep on moving towards the goal. If you give up easily on life, its like you’re giving up on the ultimate price and that is the end of the challenge humans are facing. You’ll never know what’s on the end without reaching it. God puts humans in certain situations wherein they will learn to trust, to swallow their pride, learn their lessons, ask for help and sometimes, to learn on how to help, not just others but also themselves if they became too dependent of others.
What your view about this? share to us... see you around

Life is like a game. It is on how people play it. Sometimes we win because of luck and sometimes because we really trained hard. It is never a battle of you and others. It is actually a battle of me, myself and I. What we actually want to do in life needs a critical thinking. Where it is only "you" alone who will choose.
The hardest battle we could actually face is the fact that we can make a decision on our own. The reason why others can't enjoy the game of life, because the are depending on what others will tell them. They are much concern of what the society might say about things they do.
We all need a coach. And if biblical speaking, it's God whom I can say to be the best coach. When we follow him, we will lose nothing. We face struggles and difficulties but that is normal.
Imagine Pacquiao, tigerwoods or simple player without training, they can't beat anybody and win if they never face retreat. Inside the battlefield it is not always about winning but also learning through experiences. And if we can manage how to control loses in our lives, that will be time we can face the wins.

Thank a lot of sharing your views. But see you said "we win because of luck and sometimes loss because we are training" I just confuse because I assume you believe in LUCK IN OUR LIFE instead of God plans to us and works in us... what do you think.. see you around

I believe in God. Yes. But, luck is part of life too. It is how we express things we can not justify through science. It is a way of accepting what is there and what is not.
God and bible are undebatable. People uses he word luck, just like me, to depend things that cannot be define by science. Did God created luck?
Then that is another issue.

While the analogy of a game could fit, we have to remember that this is the real thing. This life is temporary but there is a future life:
1 Timothy 6:19 (New International Version, ©2010) 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
The real life is ahead whether in the new earth or in heaven, the location is not important but having God's friendship and approval is. If God is for us then who can be against us.
Enjoy life, now and forever!

If God is besides us then it is all good, no matter what happens. He is in control! Let's keep reading his word and understand all that he is doing for our good.

i agree with you whole-heartedly... we can't expect life to be smooth-sailing all the time... there are times when we will be at the lowest and we can't give up on life when that happen... just have to keep on going and be strong... i believe that God is always with us all the way through good or bad times and we are never alone... take care and have a nice day...

I do agree with your statement. Life is like a game so we have to make sure that we have to utilise our time in this world to do something that God told us to do. As long as God can see we do the right thing, He would give the good things for you. You cannot take things for granted. Sometimes you'll need to win something and sometimes you'll need to lose something. You cannot have the best of both worlds so I believe that God wants us to make sacrifices in our life that we have to give up something. So this is why we have been given brain to think what will the best thing that we can do to solve the problems. Sometimes God tests our intelligence and He will see how we can handle such situations. We need to seek time to pray to God and ask for His guidance on what we are going to do. God do listen to our prayers but He does not always answer them. Sometimes God also have different plans for us than what we were originally planning. This will be the indication that God plans something better for us and He knows us the best. Hope my input would brighten your day.

Hi visavis! Life may be hard and tough but there's no reason for anyone to give up on life. We should all face our life problems bravely rather than running away from it. Life may throw us obstacles but we can use our experience we learned from other problems to go and tackle this one.
Life can only be amazing when you make it to be. Even if we fail on reaching our goals, who cares? Just get back up on your feet and try and try again. Everyone has failed in some point in their life. Never be ashamed of your failures because failures is the mother of success.

I think you are right .. sometimes life feels like a game. Evil game , nice game , .. manipulation game , sensationalize games and so on. The type of games you play characterize what kind of person you are at the end of the day. Like for instance , those who surround themselves with bad thugs all the time , doing bad deeds like bribing , crimes and whatnot are just condemning themselves to evil games on and on and on. Unless there's a stop to it or repent , then the good guy's game won't ever start. Yes , we never will know what's at the end of the tunnel , either there will be good or bad waiting. Just sift through doing the best that we can , and this life will be more meaningful for sure. Life can be the best game we play , but not at the expense of others. Good topic here , I enjoy contributing my thoughts on this.

Yes, I do agree with you that life is game. Sometime we win sometimes we lose. But the most important thing is that we should continue to play no matter what. After all, life has it lessons, every time we fail, we learn how to do it in a better way. From there, we can continue to play the game and hope to win in the end. Life has it hardships but as soon as you master your craft, then life would be easier and each game we play will be more fulfilling and perhaps rewarding. So we should live the life with a positive outlook, continue to play and learn from the mistakes and cherish each winning moment. Use each of them to fulfill your dream.. to become a champion one day.. which means achieving one's goal in life.. Success!

If life is a game, then who chooses the players and the object of the game? We can see life as just a game to be played, yet how do we know when to to take a turn?

Life is not a game, at least, it is not a video game. We cannot repeat what we'll face just by moving your finger tips. We cannot "save" and "load" our situations so that we can have better results. (as time machine not invented, we cannot correct our past) And also, it is not a game 'cos it is not funny or it is just a boring game.
Sorry for such statement. However, one I do agree is that, never, never give up so easily in such a complicated world. When you stay enough, the good things will come.
Best wishes

Another thing, in a game, once it is over, you will be able to begin to play a new one. As in life, whenever you fail or made a mistake, you will be able to resolve it by not giving up. Starting a new chapter wherein you now know what strategy to do. In game when you start a new game, you will be unlikely to fail again because you now learned what to do. Like where to jump, dodge, and collect something. That means we learn from our mistakes.

I find that point of view a little odd for some reason..
I accept with many things you wrote, though. Yet I can't really see life as a game. While playing a game you can *usually* start over and re-do everything you've done wrong on the first time, or you can have another chance and try again for the very least. In life you can never take your actions back... And at times there are no seecond chances at all.

Yes, Life is a game. There is nothing in our hands win or loose. The only thing what we can do is work hard and reach the goal and always keep a positive thinking. Because many say thet if we think +ve and be +ve and behave +ve life also will be +ve.
As you said stealing n drinking is only for a short period. you can't survive by doing those in life. People must never loose hope in life. If you loose anything there must be something better than this.:)
