What If You Die... What will happen to your earnings and investment online?

Money doesn't grows on trees. Most of us were spending months or even years working on various money making sites to gain referrals while others had taken the risk on some online business venture to multiply their earnings. Thus in due time a propitious amount can be obtained even just sitting pretty back home and from time to time visits the site to stay active and check the current standings. Mostly, earning sites particularly PTC requires once a month activity to keep the account intact. How many of us here shares information regarding online work or investment to any trusted person in the anticipation of events whereas we can no longer stay active in the site due to disability or as worst as death to prevent the suspension of account? If we are talking here a big portion of accumulated money each month, would you keep your details to your family considering the money will all be wasted in any reason you can't pursue the online job anymore? Are there no options other than termination of account if the member of such site fails to pass the job to anyone? What will happen to paypal or alertpay account? What about the bank account? Just asking...

Very interesting topic! It made me think now that i should be writing my passwords and account names in one paper and give it to a trusted person. Even would ask a favor to continue my money making online.. My bf knows my paypal account so maybe he can check on it when i die. I know he will be doing the best out of my money for he knows i worked hard for it. I think i will be giving him all the sites of my money making online with the passwords and usernames so he can access it too.

Thanks for the concern but i trust my bf that much for entrusting him my online earnings and stuff. I have his bank account where he receives all his money from his job, so i think if ever my money goes down, i will also be getting his money from his bank..hahaha! fair enough i guess ;)

Hi there gaiza12, You must be earning a lot via online. I don't have anything against your boyfriend but I think it would be safer not to give yet all the access to him. If I may suggest you can write all the details in a piece of paper and secure in one place at your control and ask a trusted person to open it once you get die. That way no one can cheat you while alive and kicking.

Dear friend, May now onwards I have to think of this, may be this topic have taken me to some useful thoughts to prevent and give my online details to those I trust, in case I die they could use it. May be I would have to give to my lawyer. Anyhow, at present I do not have much online earning and not much investments.

In time we will earn as much as the others. For now sit back & relax and don't think yet about dying. Thanks for your comment.

any a/c online we can add another owner/admin name to it bank a/c, you can go to the bank and make it a joint a/c so if you die, the other is automatically the new owner password can be sent to any e-mail, so instead of giving password out to stranger just create an e-mail that both you and the other person knows the password and make this e-mail a/c your default in case someone forgets the password make sure he/she knows the answer to security questions too just in case this way nobody but you and the other person know about earning and password etc I don't earn much online so it's nothing to worry about I guess

Hi LittleMel, What you just stated will be a good help for us aiming to earn much money online. Now I wouldn't worry yet but who knows in the next couple of days. All we need is time and effort.

Well that is the reason why it is called online job, work, earnings. Perhaps the security of the account bares for the owner who signed up on the site. But if you talk things on your online job to a family member who knows your account details and passwords, perhaps they can continue that for you, but my question is, why worry? money is worthless, you should worry about where your soul would go when you die. You cannot take anything on earth with you when you die so why worry about your earnings online? be it millions worth, it will all be useless.

Hi there strawberrychocodai, Regarding your question. Why worry? Well surely you can't take away the money with you when you die but if you do have the heart you would consider what financial assistance that the 'money' can bring to your family. Isn't about yourself but the ones left. That thought alone makes your soul pleasing in the eyes of GOD. Thanks.

Interesting and I have not given much thought to that. I suppose I better have a plan for this. I will be issuing them to my live in boyfriend as he is aware of a great many things I do, but not sure he would have access and or be able to get to them. Thanks for the reminder on this one.

As your name goes, I may say you can be one of those who earns a lot via online. Thereby, sure you should entrust someone else to your fortune just in case you know what I mean. Nice to see you again! Thanks.

If we die and there's no one to claim those money in our account, those money will be donated to charities. I can't think of any other places whereby those money can go because the bank or paypal can't keep it just like that. They don't have the permission to do so. It would be best to let our family members know about our online earnings, so that if anything happens, there's some extra money for them in our paypal account.

That is actually a good question. I'm not planning to die any time soon but you just never know. I think that the money would just fade away into nothingness. The account will get canceled out of a period of inactivity. Things will be deleted with anything. All of that money just vanished, unless of course it has been moved to a bank account or spent. Other than that, there is bound to be some money that is not going to be spent. So, that's a good question. Depends on which family members are still alive. My mother knows or has a good idea where she can find out. Other than her, I have not entrusted anyone with the information, because, well some of my family members aren't exactly someone I would trust with passwords, given they tend to have loose tongues.

Who would? LOL It seems to me there are no other options but to disclose passwords and usernames to someone else if we all want our accounts stay active if something happens to us. What we can do is to find who deserve to put our trust into.
