Downsized

I'm sure everyone has heard of it or at least seen it, there are tons of people in the country that have had to downsize and live in a house smaller than they fit in. Why do these people get a tv show? My husband and I have 2 kids and live in a 1 bedroom house just making do. And i'm sure there are other people like us doing the same thing. Question is, how many of you are living like this? What is your situation? Mine is we are in the process of building a new home after living in the one bedroom house for 9 years but we are at a stand still due to having no money. Would love to hear how many people are actually having to downsize or have been living small? Happy Mylotting.

I hadn't really thought about it until now - but I live in a one bedroom house. In that bedroom I have a twin size bed and my son's hospital bed. I also have the lift and wheelchair along with other things he needs for his care... all in a one bedroom.. maybe I should be on tv!!

I know right... Sorry to hear you are in that situation also... Maybe we could start our own tv show.

My house was foreclosed on five years ago, and since then me and two of my kids have been living with my Mom. The house, is three bedrooms, and seems big enough, but I share a room with my daughter. There is no room for privacy. She was sharing a room with her brother but I decided they were getting to old to share, so I had my daughter move her things into the room I have. I have seen the show downsized..I think it's a really good series, and who knows they might have something on there that might help other families. Cool for them that they have a show...that can only help their situation.

I use to live in a 3 bedroom , 2 baths , lost my home due to payments getting to high, money situation, however , now I rent, older home but sometimes you have to do this and look toward a situation to make it better. I had 9 grandchildren and tried to help raise 6 at one time who lived with me and now have left. I have 3 great grandchildren. I have no work, the object is never give up, be thankful, and keep on going ..life is too short to fill all the time with worrys....

Hi i was use to live in a real large house but now unfortunately i have moved to another city so i have to rent a very small house just to save some money,and like you i am also building a little money so i can buy a nice and live with my family and hopefully that will happen soon.....
