All puppies have worms. Count on it. A deworming product from a competent vet is better than something bought over the counter. The vet can test for the type of worm(s) that need to be treated. May I suggest that you educate yourself in the care and feeding of puppies/dogs. Since you have a computer and web access, you can search for this topic. Hopefully you are going to have them for a long time and they should be healthy or that will end up being a short time. Good luck.

If you are a pet lover you will know that a puppy needs to be dewormed when they reach a certain days of age. It is mandatory. Dogs need to be dewormed because they can get dirt not only from the food that they're eating, but they are just animals who like to play with dirt sometimes.
Left over rice is not good at all. Free feed them and give raw chicken wings or neck as snacks. Raw food will help your dog get rid of bad breath and makes them healthier too.

I like puppies so much. I had one dog and two puppies. But now I have one dog and one puppy. Here the puppies are dewormed every particular months. I think most doctors says that puppies should be dewormed. I would suggest you to take them to a good animal doctor to know if they have worms.

Hi, irene66. I have four dogs. If your dogs are eating plenty of food then they are probably ok. But, you certainly can't tell for sure just by looking at them. And cuteness is something that resides in the eye of the beholder. You can check their poop for worms but keep in mind that there are many different types of worms that dogs can get that aren't as easily noticeable and some, such as heartworms, can only be detected through testing by a reputable vet. I recommend you take your pups, if you haven't already, to a vet. The vet can tell you when to schedule certain vaccines and tests and can give a complete examination to make sure your puppies are in good health. As far as the food goes I would recommend you feed them only the appropriate dog food for their age. It's certainly tempting to share our own food with our beloved furry friends and I do occasionally but only as a treat and I also pay close attention to what I'm feeding them. Some human food is just not good to feed to dogs and some human foods can even kill them. Plus, feeding them leftover table scraps or sharing our food with them as we are eating can also encourage bad eating habits in your dogs. Your vet can tell you how best to feed them. Good luck.

Usually if the puppy has worms it will be evident in their stool (fecal matter or poop) You can usually see the little white worms crawling around on it and if thats the case and your pups are old enough worm them immediately. You may feed them puppy food. Dog food will work but its better for your pups health to feed it food specifically made for a dog of its age. You can soften this food with warm water and can give them bits of raw chicken to supplement their food.
