yes that would be my grandfather it`s been fifteen years since he slipped from this world and not a day goes buy that i don`t think of him he was always there for me when no one else would be
my day with my grandfather would be
i`d take him in his weak tea and toast for breakfast
i`d help him fix the bed then we`d do the dishes always yacking .
he`d take his morning stroll outside i can see him sliding his hand back and forth over his shiny bald head having a scratch as he does so
then he`d convince me that we needed to drive to the next town for something ( we really didn`t need )
he would take the old dirt track in his old white valiant speeding along at 100mph as i clung on for dear life ( he only had one eye and was almost blind in his remaining eye)
once there we would have a cuppa at the little coffee shop before returning home
it would be time for his granny nap
after awaking a couple of hours later be needed to see his girls so off we would go down to the club for his shot of scotch or two i would join him with that he taught me only the best will do when it comes to scotch after a couple of hours we would saunder up the hill home he would always complain that some one made the hill higher while we were inside . once home totally exhausted he would lie upon his bed for a much needed rest
he would insist on a very light tea he only ever ate as much as a bird in a meal then after a great warm tight hug we`d say goodnight.

if there's someone i'd like to visit me, it would be my mom. i lost her, very unexpectedly, in 2000 (aneurism). i wasn't prepared, she was just 68, very strong, very much alive. after her attack, there was no chance for us to talk anymore, i'm glad i got to say i love you to her the day before in our regular phone conversation, when she was still conscious and can hear and comprehend what i say.
she visits me in my dreams from time to time. and i know she's just around, and still praying for me like she used to. i miss her. given a day to be with her, i'd spend the whole of it talking with her and kissing her and hugging her.

yes, but somehow when you're with someone very close to you, you don't even have to think at all, it comes out spontaneously. and the best thing is when you don't even have to say a thing and you just both know what's the message, moments when you just feel comfortable being together in silence.

I'd want it to be my dad, and we'd go shopping, because that's what he always liked to do with me. We used to hit his favorite book and music stores and spend hours just browsing. He had severe rheumatoid arthritis, but no matter how much he used to hurt, he was always ready to go whenever I came to town. It's been 20 years, and I'd love to see him again.

I really would love that to happen but it would be hard to pick who if I could only pick one and I would spend the day locked up with them and ask many questions so maybe I could ease the worlds problems by telling them the truth of what is.

I would definately want my ex-boyfriends grandmother to come and visit. I would like to talk to her, ask her a few questions, plus I think my ex would really like to see her.

I would like it to be my Grandmother and I would spend that time telling her that I wished I would have listened to her when she warned up of about my Marriage and I would try to make up for the years that we hardly spoke because of my Marriage. I never stopped loving her though but I had to put my Family first even though I did realise that she was right about the Guy I married.

It would be my dad. He passed away 7 years ago and to this day, I miss him so much. My husband and I, with my siblings and mom, would often reminisce about him and we'd talk about how he would enjoy all these new technologies that has recently sprung out -- mobile phones, DVDs, etc.
If he could be with us for a day, I'd probably sit beside him as we do marathon watching of action and war movies that he never got to see. I'm sure he would also enjoy meeting my one-year-old niece who never got to know him.
