Yes. I sleep at 2 a.m in the first day of the new year. I can't be more than 30 hours without sleeping. So, I just greet other ones and celebrate some time more, but then I go to sleep.

I'm sorry. I was supposed to respond the discussion, not to commenting. Sorry for that, I'm kind of sleepy. Happy new year!

yes. especially when our neighbors are starting to pack-up things and you can no longer here people partyin' and stuffs and when everyone here is drunk and you've got a feeling of NOT-TAKING-CARE of them. haha. that is one of the best reason why you should sleep. :)

I slept very late at about 3:30AM. I was too excited to sleep. On the last day of 2010, My classmates and I did some shopping, we bought cloth and delicious food. All in all, I was too excitde to fall asleep!

Thansk for the wishes. I wish you a great year ahead. I was alone at home for new year as my husband is in a different country as a part of his job. So,I didn't do anything on new year eve other than sitting at home all day watching TV, eating, and reading some books. It is very cold out. So, I didn't go out even though I had a big urge to go for a walk. Today, I went out and got some groceries.

Hi dear, Yes we had organised some small programs for the children from the society building. We got all 18 gathering food and dinner and cultural programs and fun games for the children and it went upto 2:00 am. And again just had some more fun and TV programs at home and then slept around 3:00 am. Wish you happy new year. Thank-s

I went to bed at 11 a.m. and then slept for most of the day. So, it wasn't immediately after welcoming the new year :). But then I'm a night bird anyway.

I sleep after celebrating the new year. I always do this every new year. I just like sleeping after all the sound and noise of those fireworks. Also, there is nothing fun to see at the sky after the new year. Fireworks will be lessened a lot. Unlike before the new year, fireworks really light up the sky. So, sleeping is my option after celebrating the new year.

Hi thgere, If you ask me to skip one or two meals might be I would agree but when things come down to sleeping there is no compromise. In the past would remain awake till the entry of the new year but not this time. I let it slip in when I was asleep and could see it in the morning when I get up.

I hate to admit this but I went to bed at 10pm last night! I have to get up at 6am for my Saturday job so I could not risk being too tired since I work 12 hours each Saturday. I did not sleep well though since my phone kept going off and I guess I subconciously waited up til my daughter got home safely at 1am. Hope you enjoyed your celebration!
