What's the requirements in renewing ATM card?

you miss one thing block your saving account for withdrawn... because your card still read in your atm machine, when you want to renew it you must bring your identity card and your saving account book, the last contact your customer service soon

Any time my ATM card is out of my possession I cancel it and get a new one. I don't trust anyone in this regard. It's just to easy to access your accounts, there are new tricks all the time that favor the criminal mind.

Go to your bank and ask to speak to a teller. Tell her that you need to renew your Atm card. She will direct you to the one who can do it or can do it herself. It is possible that for some reason your card was damaged, or it might have had an expiry card. You really should not put the magnetic strips of the cards together. That will do it.

hi, You can call in and replace the card by phone. there is no need to wait until the bank open. well, as I believe you can get your card back once the bank open and they will able to get it out... if not then they can't let another customer use the ATM machine. In the main time, if you dont have your card now... then you should call to cancel your card before someone else got it out and use it

You need to inform you bank all the details. I hope that bank manage will suggest you what to do. I think you need do other than that. Bank will give you renewed ATM card.

i never have to do anything to renew my ATM card... my bank always send me a new card automatically a few months before my card expired... that's it... if your bank hasn't send you one and your card is already expired, you can make a complain to the bank for the inconvenient and ask them to send you a new one immediately... usually you will receive one within 5 business days the maximum... take care and have a nice day...

You should be able to renew your ATM without any issues. Talk to your bank about it. I have renewed mine several times, and I haven't had any problems.

Hmmmm! First, I am wondering why you have to renew your card? Were you not able to get the card? Because if it was stuck on the machine, the security guard can get it. You do not need to renew it. There's no such thing as renewing an ATM card. You can only request for reissue in case it was ripped or damaged, stolen or unable to withdraw for some reasons. If that is the case, you only present your card and request for it. Just present a valid ID if you go to the bank personally. If you cannot go in person, make an authorization letter.

hi! if your card got stuck in the atm, you can still retrieve it from that bank. it just needs proper identification and bank details. you don't have to renew your atm unless the card is defective (with scratches or tear or super old already). if you wish to request a new atm card, simply go to the branch of your account and file a request. some bank charges about $4-$5 for renewal (depending on the bank policy) and there's a waiting period. it will take longer if you want your name embossed on the card. be ready for valid id and your bank details just in case. goodluck tomorrow!

I think it depends on the bank? Different banks has got different requirements.. It should not be a hassle because u alreayd have got an account with them, and it's just a matter of getting a new card.. haha =D It should take u less than 5 mintues because they do have many of such cards in stock. All they need to do is to link your account to that card.. haha

I don't know about your country though. In the United States, you can call the 1 - 800 number to report a lost card, or a stuck card, they will schedule within a week or so to give you a new card. And it is hassle - free too. All they do just cancel your old card, that is all.

Big Trouble !!! Once your ATM is no longer with you, you must call to the service center to report lost card immediately. By doing so, your ATM card will be blocked from any possibility of fraud case. I think the service number is available at most of the ATM machines. It should be operating in 24 hours. The next step you should do is to approach your bank personally to apply for a replacement. Different countries and different banks have different requirements. I had this exact same thing happen to me while working out of town. It was the kind of ATM where the card actually goes inside the machine. Once I got my money, it ejected my card, well I forgot to get my card back and drove off. I simple went to the bank the following morning and spoke with one of the ladies at the counter. They got the manager and we went outside and he opened the ATM and handed my card back. I honestly didn't think that it would even be possible for them to do this but he did. You could also call your bank, cancel your card, order a new card, and wait for it to arrive in the mail. Good luck.

I would say that the only requirements is that you renew your card in person.. at your Bank..Due to so much fraud..could be they are wanting that in-person renewal.

I have no idea with this. The only time that i have had a problem with my card when using it at the atm is also when i was drawing money out. I was too busy putting the money i got into my wallett and by the time i was going to get my card out it went back inside. I went in to the bank and they asked me to call in the next day and they would retrieve it for me. I thought this was a little strange but i did get it back the next day.

the suggestion of the guard is not applicable to you, because your atm was stucked meaning the machine malfunctioned. you can get the same card by going to going to your bank and tell them what happened to your card, they to you the same card just bring a valid I.D

i don't think u need any requirements. just go speak to your bank branch manager. you'll get it in 2-3 days
