New Year party last night, I just don't want to stay

Actually, I had a new year party last night from my part - time work. Actually I don't want to stay at all, but I was also hungry last night, so I stay a bit before I head home. There were full of people I don't know, and I just don't know what to say to them when we were sitting together. A co - worker of mine actually head home early, because he doesn't want to stay either. Well, maybe I am not the socializing type of person. But at least, we have good food served from last night. Happy new year everyone!

i think i am similar like you... i also don't like party that much and i usually just stay for a while if i have to go to a party... i can't stand being in the crowd for too long as i am an introvert person and prefer to be alone most of the time... take care and have a nice day...

Happy New Year!
I am not really good at the socializing thing - thats why I love being a writer, where I can sit at home with my tea, my computer and my cat, and talk to myself while wearing pyjamas! But you're quite right - go for the food!
I was at home with my husband for New Year, watching New York on television. Oh, I'm a wild one, me!

I would have gone to eat as well then try to leave before midnight. 
I can't really drink because of the kids, then the laws are so strict about drinking and driving that you wouldn't want to risk getting caught. I don't mind socializing but I haven't been in a socializing mood since my kids are always interrupting any adult conversation I have had. Don't worry most of the people I know stayed at home just watching television because it was really cold where we live.
