As I said, I am here in home of my elder son with my wife. This city Hyderabad in south India is a metro, full of people from all parts of India, rather the globe. The best hospitals are here. We were undergoing medical checkup and treatment here in one of those super-speculation hi-tech hospitals. This will be the second time for the checks and continuation of the treatment.
As soon as we entered the home, the twin grandsons, who are 15 months young now clinged to us. They have grown up so fast; my wife calls them Sumo fighters. I will post a picture later.
I wonder how the recognize us; normally kids don’t come near new visitors to home. Well may be they see us during video chat using Yahoo messenger.
We will be here for about two months.
We will visit the places of pilgrimage in south India.
So when you were there in homes of your kids, parents, siblings last?
How frequently you visit?
Please share.
Thank you so much in advance.
Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

definitely... time always flies very fast before we even realise it... that's why we always have to cherish and make good use of the time that God still give to us before it is too late... as after the time goes by, it won't be able to come back again which can cause deep regrets if you haven't make good use of it... take care and have a nice day...

I have two young nieces. They are 5 and 3. Every time I see them, I can't believe how big they are now. Not to mention how smart they are too. It's kind of hard to believe at times. It's kind of sad at times, because I remember how small they were, and it doesn't feel like such a long time ago either. But that's the way that it goes with kids. It does seem like they do grow up fast.

Both of my siblings still live with my mother across town and it really isn't that far away from us, so we will typically visit at least once a week. As of right now, the last time that we were at her house was on New Year's Day because she was helping us to get some equipment to work on our plumbing. We were at her house for just a couple of hours. I'm hoping that we will be able to go and spend some time with her this coming weekend as well.

They do. My great-niece was born last year, and she is already walking and trying to say her first words. Our lives, if you look at time as a whole, are just little blips. We are born and then before you know it, we are gone...

My son lives with me, and has no children. My daughter lives a long ways away. We visited in her home in May. She visited me with the girls in August, then in November. She will be here again in a week.

I think kids these days are smarter and their sense of attachment to their roots is uniquely strong. Non of my children are married yet so I have no experience having grandkids. I often visit my mom and stay with her for over a week each time I visit her. But the longest I stayed in one place is 3 months with my sister in Australia. I am planning to stay for a month with my son in Thailand this year.

hello Prof,
I have a friend who lives there in Hyderabad,he works in a military service.
I can guess how modern that place is.
With your topic, yes kids grown so fast.
Remembering my kids when they are still young, now they're grown ups.
I can't even think how i managed to took care of them by myself.
I never had any servants or househelp before.
I want to took after my kids personally.
Now,they are even bigger/taller than me.
The only thing that reminds me of their toddler days is when they started to fight each other.
Ahh,they still fight till now.
I can guess how lovely your grandkids are,to think they are twins
Kids easily recognize people, they have sharp memory.
Regards to the family dear bhai

Fortunately my children are nearby, but so true in a blink of an eye they are grown up. I started child bearing at a very young age and now while still young my children are grown up.
My friends on the other hand are now my age and have little ones. They do not believe me when I say that the children grow up fast. I keep reminding them to relish the moments as they do grow up way too fast for us.
I may be moving in the near future so your discussion reminds me that if I do so, I will make every effort to come back and visit if I do not do anything else this I will do. Thanks for the sweet reminder.
Happy New Year to you Professor.

You are right professor. My parents are always saying the same thing about me. I don't have any kids yet so I personally wouldn't know but all my life people have said that exact same thing. Have a good new year and a good life!

It is true sir. When we look back we can't believe all things happend so fast. My children a boy and a girl , both staying in U.S. I visited them in 2005. Stayed there for six months. My daughter came here in 2008, and son in 2009. When they come here they stay only for a month. their stay seems to be very rapid. I feel I can't find time to enjoy their stay. when they leave, house comes to still. I love my grand sons, three of them, more than i loved my children. In those days when my children are young i was too busy in attending household work. i can't find time to love them.( I feel like that.) Now every moment of time i enjoy the company of my grand children. They very friendly with me.We plan to go there this year.
