I'm sure many of you here have encountered discussions here that makes no utter sense at all. Their reason is "Well, if you think about it, it makes sense." Well, yeah it makes sense but c'mon, are you really that dumb to not come up with a better discussion than "How many times your girlfriend kisses you?"

Yes I have encountered these types of questions almost every, if not every, day. It really makes it difficult to utilize this site. I mean, I come on here wanting to post to a bunch of discussions and earn some money, but I always find myself getting frustrated because I have to waste my time sorting through all the bs to try to find a discussion actually worth posting to.

Well, you'll find some discussions worth responding to but sometimes it's rare. There are even others who post several nonsense consecutively like it's nothing. They should think first before posting something, otherwise, myLot will become an all spam site. We don't want that.

Yeah, I've noticed people who will post several discussions, all one-liners, and often the one line doesn't make sense. It's awful. I wish that moderators would do more to stop this type of behavior. It's strange though. I've noticed that a lot of the one-liners don't get deleted, and yet, many of the discussions I respond to get deleted and I don't even understand why.

Hello Frontvisions, it looks like we all are staring at the system of mylot and for me that's not something bad, it's the normal way of our "living here". I washon my way to share one story from one Mall we were soon. It's brand new Mall in one big sea city where i lived before. We visited the new mall, and it was full of vanity and fake beauty. There we visited the toilets and we noticed the strange sinks and the strange machines you had to use to turn on the water, so you to be able to wash your hands after using the toilet. It was really hard job, because so many buttons and looks like they used some new technology so nobody knew how to turn on the water When we left the toilet, my boyfriend was leaving it at the same time and said that there was a man, trying the same as us in the girls toilet, who tried so hard and when he finally did it he said "Oh man, you need to have university in the past so to be able to use the water"

That's great with the toilet sink story. I'm talking about nonsensical discussions here. Yeah, we're looking at it all but how many discussions of these users have to get deleted in order for them to learn? It's irritating sometimes.

No. I meant there are a lot of users who posts just whatever just to earn money. They're kind of being irresponsible with the guidelines. They should read it more and learn how to post responsibly. Not just whatever nonsense they could come up with.

Hi Front, I guess they are looking for something easy to answer. they hope that they can get many responses. and some people want easy but earn cash fast.

i guess the easy discussion like you had mentioned on your discussion is not violating the guide line. Only if we were asking about favorite stuffs, then it might be violated the faqs

Yeah, maybe. I think that's exactly what they're doing. They wanna earn fast cash without even thinking about what they're posting. That's annoying sometimes. They need a trip to the FAQS page.

Yeah I do agree. This is a discussion form, so you should, I don't know, discuss something. There are a lot of topics where I feel do go around in motions. Even one's I start can have a few responses that can be a bit by the numbers and given I try to respond to everything, that can be a bit tricky. I get a sense that there are many, many good posts(in fact I know that's true), but I do get a sense that there are a lot of people just going through the motions. Both with their posts and responses. It really does cheapen the community in a number of ways.

You're right. Seeing nonsense discussions just makes me close the window and browse somewhere else. It also takes the excitement of answering an interesting discussion away. Party pooper.

I've posted discussions on this very thing, other members have complained about this as well and yet it goes on and on. I've been told to simply skip over these "discussions"'if i found them boring.but, it's hard enough for me to find a discussion of interest and then on top of this i need to go through tons of these type threads before i do. Some people also say what's boring to one person may be interesting to someone else. But, even if this is true, half or most of these types of posts eventually are deleted since they are usually one liner type questions, which means anyone who was interested enough to respond will have their response deleted anyway, so the whole thing was for nothing. But,the whole point is, what can we possibly do about this?, besides complain about them? since i'm sure those who continue to post these types of discussions have either gotten their post deleted or have received many negative ratings and yet they continue to post them , sad but true.

Yep, it's true. Plus, users who create one-liners obviously haven't read the Guidelines in posting a discussion. They should read that before even starting one. All they think about is money, i guess.
4 Jan 11
I am one of them, who thinks only about money.Yes but look at yourself 6092 post, lol that's 60 dollars minimum, from posting, you might also have referals, completed some offers and so one.So don't judge all the people around.I am currently unemployed and i am trying to win some money online. And you say that most of the people post a stupid topic.Well the topic might be stupid for you,but for somebody else it might be interesting.

I've been a mylot member for a few years, but every once and a while I have to take a break for a while because of this reason. When I first come back its easy to find worthwhile discussions, but after a few days of logging on to see "do you like soda?", etc.. I just can't make myself do it anymore. I get bored and I stop logging on. Usually its something significant in my life or in the news that brings me back to mylot. Of course I can't say that i'm not guilty of a few boring or dumb topics myself LOL..after all we've all been in the situation of being close to payout with nothing interesting happening to us and ,of course ,we've all been new and learning here. Soooo... as much as I can somewhat understand the reason behind these topics I can only take so much of them before I drift away to other sites for a while

Me too. I also hang out to other sites for that reason. If this keeps up, "myLot" could become "myGod".

What do you mean by trigger? I'm not sure i get what you're talking about.

I admit sometimes I create some discussions to attract others' attention in order to earn more commission. Sometimes the topics are not real in my life. Frankly speaking, when I write something that I never experienced, I really feel bored and uncomfortable. I don't know what to say . So I agree with you very much. When I respond to some topics that I have ever had, it really makes me happy. I want to create some meaningful topics or some of my real things in life. But sometimes it is really not easy. Because the cultural gap, many things will be not understood by others outside China. However, I will try to post something and not to imagine some topics.

I'm fully aware of the cultural gap. What i meant when i said "post something that relates to your life" is post something common to all. We all have jobs, we all went to school at one point in our lives, we all have friends, families, relatives, when you know that a certain part of your culture isn't familiar to others, you just have to explain it. And i'm sure if someone didn't understand what you're talking about, they'll ask questions about it so you have to feel free and share whatever experiences you had or are having. And it's not just life experiences alone, you can share your thoughts on certain subjects that are answerable easily by common sense. I'm not talking about simple ones like my examples above. Those are just lame.
