Preventing certain sites from being visited

To start, I have at least 10 people visiting my house everyday. Sometimes people use my laptop and visit sites that aren't appropriate. Is there anyway I can block those sites from being accessed?

An excellent choice that you can try is make a guest account. Once you create a guest account, you can apply parental controls to that account. From there, you can edit it as you like, hope this works!!

Yeah. ladyhailey is correct. This gives you privacy and protection over your files unlike using particular softwares to block off sites you do not want them to visit. Having only one user account means they can look into your hard drive with full access and control.
