In today's rat race everyone is busy making money and have no time for themselves or their health. People sleep late and also get up late which results in many health problems. Moreover they also fail to notice the beauty of nature which can be seen early in the morning. A rising sun gives a promising day to the viewer. A few hours extra in the morning which can be got by rising early helps us to finish off the pending chores. When we get up early we get time to exercise and also go for long brisk walks which is good for our health. This in turn makes us feel fresh both mental and physically resulting in a great day ahead. These are a few merits of waking up early. How about you all? Are you an early riser? Do share your views my friends.
Happy mylotting.

I am an early riser. I will get up early, drink 1 glass of luke warm water and go for a brisk walk for 30 minutes and after coming home do breathing exercise and yoga, relax for 5 mts and then resume my domestic work. This keeps me fresh, stay healthy, keeps young and relaxed all day long. People comment that I look younger than my age

hi vathsala, wish you a very happy and a prosperous new year. So you are reaping all the benefits of being a early riser especially looking more younger than your age. I too get up early and go for a 30 to 40 minutes walk with my husband but cannot find time for yoga or exercise. Thanks for your kind response.

Yes waking up early in the morning with cold winter is hell, but if you have discipline and perseverance no problem at all. I remember when I was in high school I have to wake up 4am in order to prepare my things for school whether rain or shine I have to go early as possible because - just using bike. see you around

There are small children who go to school early in the morning who have to get up early whether it is cold or even snowy. So why can't we adults do it. I know you have a snugly feeling under the warm blanket in winter but once you are out of the bed you never feel cold and like visavis has said all you need is some amount of discipline to get started. Thanks for your response.

i totally agree with you that there are lots of benefits for waking up early in the morning... on top of all the things that you mentioned in your post, i want to add one more... and that is, early risers get the blessings and opportunities that other people won't get because they can grab them first while other people are still sleeping... take care and have a nice day...

as a housewife I am always up early. because, I have to prepare all the needs of my child and my husband. I also get my child to get up early. because, Wake up in the morning, will make the body more healthy. Inhaling the fresh air, to help gather energy reserve, to move throughout the day. When we got up early, we will have time exercise, although the time is only a few minutes.

Good Day!
I always wake up early no matter how late I slept at night. I know its not good for my healthy because I'll lack sleep but I have no choice, I have to make money. The benefits of waking up early for me is that you won't feel lazy doing some things or you'll be done to do some things early.

Good sleep is also necessary to keep oneself healthy so do not deprive yourself of proper sleep. If you are not healthy you cannot make money also. So everything in its limits gives a good and a healthy life. Thanks for your response.

I personally hated mornings until I had children. After I had children and I was forced to get up early, I started to see that it was actually worth waking up early. The world is much more peaceful in the day time when people are still sleeping and there aren't many cars on the street. For the first few days after the birth of my first daughter, I would bundle her up and take her to sit outside with me. It was some of the most peaceful times that I can remember. Just sitting there holding her and thinking of all the things I had been missing before she came along, made me realize that I was more lucky than I ever thought possible.

I can not agree with you. There are morning people then there are evening people. I am slow, dragging in the morning. In the evening, i can run circles around you. Yes, I get the chores and exercise in but in the evening when it hurts less. At work, I admit I'm a bit slow in the mornings, however by noon, I'm outworking everyone in the building. When it's time to quit work, I've accomplished more than most. At this point, I'm still ready for all kinds of activity and projects.Just don't wake me up early. If you wake me up early, I stay hungry all day and drag around all day and night. It isn't pretty.

Every rule has an exception. It seems you fit into that exception. Generally all are energetic after a fresh early morning. But you say you feel more fresh in the evenings. Enjoy your evenings and thanks for your response.

You can always enjoy your holidays but why compromise on your getting up early. Maintain the habit which is good for your healthy mind and body which in turn can help in your studies. Thanks for your response.

A very old saying," early to bed, early to rise, make a man healthy, wealthy and wise", you are right, we miss many natural beauty at morning, if we wake up late, and there are many health benifits of early wakeup.

The saying is absolutely true. A healthy mind in a healthy body helps you deal all the problems for the day tactfully. Late risers really miss the natural beauty of sunrise in the morning. Thanks for you response.

Many thanks! sir. I do admire your idea. You remind me of getting up early. Recently, My life was totally in a mess. I got up very late and of course sleep late. In the next days to come, I will take my final examinations. So I can not sleep taht late and get up late. I shoud be more active and pay more attention to my study. Yeah, as you mentioned we can enjoy the beauty of nature, That is very nice! GET UP EARLY! TOMORROW! AND THE DAYS TO COME!

There are definitely a lot of benefits for waking up early, it not only rejuvenates you, its also healthy. I admit, I'm not much of an early riser, in fact i despise waking up early because I feel I haven't gotten enough sleep. This is probably the result of going to sleep late all the time. I usually go to sleep at around 2am and wake up right before 12pm. Unfortunately, its a daily occurrence for me because I take online classes so i have a lot of free time. I know its unhealthy and I should probably switch to a more healthy sleeping habit. Hopefully, with the new school semester coming up I can sign up for strictly morning classes thereby forcing myself to go to sleep early.

Hi
Good discussion!
I completely agree with you....
I wake up early in the morning followed by small brisk walk, As you said I have noticed the difference between, we get more time if we get up early and we end up late in everything if we get up late.
Beauty of morning and the light sun rays can not be explained, only we can enjoy....
Everything in our life is to enjoy and experience...
Have great morning and day!!!!

Thanks for your kind response. You are right. One has to experience the beauty of nature rather than hearing it from someone. I really enjoy my cool and fresh morning walk and feel bad when i miss it.

You are so right, bewitched13. I'm not a morning person, but I can accomplish so much more on those days when I manage to wake up early. If I manage to start the day right - prepare and eat a healthy breakfast, walk to work instead of taking the subway, arrive early at work so I have time to check my e-mails and answer them before the day begins - then everything falls into place and the tasks of the day go smoothly. If not, well, the whole day is hectic. I just wish I knew of a way to make sure I wake up early every day.

Getting up early is a difficult task when you are not a morning person. But with determination one can achieve even the impossible. Just keep an alarm for the time decided by you. In the first few days you will end up offing the sound as it disturbs your sleep. But with willpower and making up your mind you will see for yourself that you are getting up with the sound of the alarm. Then nobody can stop you from getting up early. I have suggested this from my experience. Now i do not find it difficult to get up early as i enjoy the fresh morning walk.
Thanks for your response.
