I have children now, and I think it has brought me closer to my wife. We can see ourselves in our children. We spend time together as a family, and as a couple quite often. Life is better when you can connect with your spouse, we are each others best friend. Too bad most couples can't say that!

Thank you for your kind words. I have found that the most important thing in a relationship is genuine friendship with the other person. That is more important than money, or social status. I loved my wife within the first week of meeting her. We had good laughs right from the start. I see so many people go only for the looks of the other person and become very disappointed shortly after getting together. Substance makes a relationship strong, and last long!

That is wonderful, as you mentioned most husbands and wives can't say that. Those types of relationships don't happen all that often. Also, as you said, that type of relationship can be seen in your children. Congratulations to you both :)

Most husbands don't make the right decision to begin with. It's when men approach a relationship from the aspect of overall friendship with a woman that he truly finds who makes him happy. Looks will fade in time, what endures is the laughter, and joy of raising a family while working together to build a life that means something. Good Luck to you in 2011!

I agree. Personally, having children adds another bond to your spouse. We enjoy spending time with our kids and share the experience of raising them together. Making decisions regarding the kids together and even buying things for them together.

Thanks for your response. Your right, it's great to be a parent. Relationships are great when both people can just enjoy each others companionship.

Well I would like to congratulate you for having a wonderful life with your wife and kids. I know that you will make a good father and I have a feeling that you are a good husband. Lol, I'm excited to be my boyfriend's wife as well. We always talk about it how many children we will have, where to live, how to live and stuffs. :)

Thanks for the nice response. My wife and I got married at age 18, and against the odds we are still married after 14 years. She is beautiful inside, and out. She was like winning the relationship lottery!
