Child support hearing?

Hi Karebear, My ex husband always used that excuse...unable to find work. He worked but it was under the table. I had 3 kids at the time and pretty much never got child support. When I did, it was generally very small amounts. What I learned is that I could not count on him to financially help me out. I had to count on myself and myself only. If and when I ever did get any support, well, it was gravy so to speak. It did no good for me to get angry or worked up over it. I worked and I raised our girls. Now my 4th daughter has a different dad. I don't get any child support at all and he is not court ordered to pay. It is hard to raise kids on your own but it can be done.

hi karebear if the economy is anything likeit is here in California he may be telling the truth as for every job opeining there are a hundred people after it. but vicodin wow does he really have to take that around the clock as that sounds like overdosing to me.I have never been in that' situation but I would check out that vicodin dosage as I think that is just a lame excuse.Is he old enough to get Social security and if he takes it early that will cut back on any job salary that he would get. Would his being on social security help any in your child support case? My husband really tried his best to support our little family and I of course worked part time too, so no child support as I did not divorce at all.I am a widow now and my only child surviving is 51 now. lol.
