Right now, I'm comparing my earnings between Squidoo, Helium, Bukisa, Triond and Factoidz. Each of them have their pros and cons but I think in the long run, both Squidoo and Helium will become "major" players in the online article database game and I have to make sure I'm an active member in both sites.
Any other site suggestions you may offer? I will be eternally grateful. I really need the supplemental income. The pay in my day job sucks.

i'm not satisfied with triond, the pay is too less there. i find mylot is better than those what you have mentioned.are u good in answering questions?(questions r not that difficult, sometimes very simple queries come & sometimes tough queries, that depends on the categories u choose).one such site is ammas.com.this is a very genuine site and i've got paid for more than 6 months in it. initially for a month it would be little hard for u to earn, but if u continue for a month answering queries, u will be promoted as a council member and from then u can increase ur earnings. i got paid $50,35,100 etc and sometimes more, depending on how i work there. 1 hr work everyday is enough to make such an amount. just give a try if u want.

I only write for Triond. I have beem a member for more than a year and I love it. I can't compare earnings because it's the only place I earn lol. I believe Triond will be one of major writing sites out there. People may say the earning is low, but I don't think so. It all depends on your topic. I stay away from poetry because it pays low. I also avoid sites that require perfect new york times quality article, because if they have the guts to have such requirements, they should pay the same rate too.

I've just started writing articles. I've written 5 or 6 on Triond and about 3 on Review Stream. Review Stream has paid me for 3 out of 4. I don't think they liked one cause I was saying how much I despise ATT. I told it all. Guess they were afraid to go public with it. ATT's already in a big lawsuit where they're gonna have to give us back about a billion for overcharging.
P.S. I am by no means a professional writer.

This is a great discussion. I have earned more on Helium over the past year but I have always been more active on that site. I have never tried Squidoo, Bukisa or Factoidz. Triond is more poetry friendly, in my opinion, than Helium and so, I tend to use it for poetry and Helium for articles.
Do you mainly write articles?

I can suggest Mypage5 to you my friend. It is the same like mylot, but it has more features and ways to earn there other than starting a discussion or commenting. Just message me if interested and i will send you the link because referral link is prohibited to be posted here.

I use "textbroker.com" myself. It's okay. Pays good if you work at it. They have a lot of assignments you can choose from in different categories. But I find it limiting in the sense that they are like sound bites, usually short articles. Little commercials. I would like to write something more substantial.

I find each site is very subjective, because I have heard stories of people doing extraordinarily well on each site; some only do well on one site, and fail on the others. I find I do best on Triond. I put in about 45 hours of total work into that site, and am now making at least 50 dollars every month passively(have currently made around 400 dollars already, without including the passive total). So I would have to say I am getting a pretty good amount back, for the time that I put in.
