smoking at comfort room.....:(

Maybe he smokes when pooping because he thinks it will hide the smell. I smoke in my bathroom, but that's because I live alone and I can smoke anywhere in my place I want to.

It is extremely harmful to smoke in household. Secondhand smoke is very dangerous for children as well as adults. In my house, there is only one smoker out of six members and that is me! I never smoke inside my house; although, everybody knows I smoke. Why? Because I know the effects of smoking and also the side effects-secondhand smoke. Smoking is a habit which is extremely dangerous and quitting is always beneficial at any stage.

Oh gosh, that is not a nice way to smoke. Why can't he smoke outside of the house. Like at the patio, or at the front steps? My mom would definitely not allow me smoke in the house. Not that she has to clean up the ashes for me. It will also fill the house with roomful of of smoke odor. No one gonna like it anyway.

I used to smoke, but never in the loo. I don't smoke and no one else here dose either so it ain't a problem.

3 of my brothers smoke,, but i didn't see them smoked at a bathroom since,, they smoke normally in small stores or just in the living area,, my sister and i don't smoke,,my mother always tell them not to continue their habit but they can't let go of it,,

I knew some guys who smoke when pooping. They have similar reasons, it helps them dispose of their wastes. But I guess that is what they just think of. Is there a medical explanation relating to smoking and pooping? Have not read of any, yet. That is one thing I hate. The smoke stays in the comfort room and it is not good because we can inhale it like a second hand smoker.

It is better for your brother to stink up one room with two awful odors at the same time rather than stink up one room with poop and then another part of the house with smoke. I say, let him have his private party and enjoy the aromas of a smoke filled pooped filled room.

My husband cannot do his private business in the loo if he doesn't smoke. He said smoking helps him to poop. I don't know how true this is. But he tried to poop without smoking and it took him almost an hour to get through. I don't know if it's the pooping that makes him smoke or the smoking that helps him poop. But either way, I think he's too dependent on smoking to help him poop and I think that is bad. He has a heart problem but he just won't stop smoking. I wish he would but he asked me to give him time. I hope he will quit one day.

even thou i smoke myself i dont like the smell of smoke in a confined space thus leave me wondering how some people really stand it to smoke while in the potty. well i my self have never tried to smoke while in the john but sometimes i do smoke before doing the deed. maybe it relax me a bit and help to poop sometimes but mostly its a force of habit that we unconsciously been doing all the time

Smoking is already dangerous and doing it in a confined space with no ventilation makes it even more dangerous, mixed with poop smell is a dangerous cocktail of mixed gases, what I did was install an exhaust fan in the rest room ceiling that has the same switch as the light, so it turns on when you turn on the light, it blows away smoke, poop smell , humidity and heat your body emits when you are in a confined space.

Some of my friends do the same thing. As for me I don't smoke at all.

As government warning, "Smoking is dangerous to your health". Smoking inside your bathroom isn't good for me. It will harm your health. I am not a smoker and I want to encourage smokers to quit from smoking because it will not benefit you're health by doing so.

I have never smoked although I am a man ,in general men who smoke more than women that smoke.I am disgusted at those people who smoke in public places as if there was no one else present.

Some people say that the smoke covers the smell, in my opinion it pollutes it even more. Your brother should be considerate to others, as many I am sure use the bathroom. does he smoke anywhere else in the house? Or is this his way of confining the smoke smell in one room?
