This is a test of principle and dignity. $1,000,000 is enough for me to live a prosperous life with my family. But if you come to think about it, something found easily isn't worth living. I have to say that I will return it to the owner, look for him, advertise and give him back the money. I know I will not be happy with the money i didn't work for. I will also feel guilty for the rest of my life if I will take something that does not belong to me. So I will return it. But if the owner will give me reward, I will accept it of course... :) How about you? Will you take the money away or give it back?

I would have to hand it in to the police, so that they would have the responsibilty of tracing the owner. When this sort of money is involved you can never know what sort of owner it belongs to. It's a lot of money to be in a suitcase, highly unlikely, and more than likely some sort of illegal gain for somebody who could be very dangerous if crossed. _Derek

My first impulse will be to keep the money, but of course I'm just being honest. After being logical, the next step is to return it. I will go out my way o find the owner and return the money without expecting for any rewards. Expecting rewards lessen the virtue of honesty.

For me 1million cannot easily earn by ordinary people. You may earn it if you are a millionaire businessmen or having illegal business and a leader of a big syndicate. They will just look at those amount in to a common amount of money they receive regularly.
For now I don't know what to do the money but one thing for sure I will not take any single amount. I will just keep it until the right time comes on what is the best thing to do on the money.

To be very honest, I just don't know what I would do. Right now, I am really having some financial difficulties and I will have to say that if I found that kind of money right now, I probably, right or wrong, would use it to help myself out of money problems.
However, having the financial difficulties could make me think, that by not turning it over to the rightful owner I could be putting them into financial ruin, so I would feel guilty and do the right thing and give it back hoping for a nice reward.

That's a Huge Amount. For me personally, I will definitely keep it for myself. After all I didn't steal it, I just found it.... Ha....ha... ha...
But there's no way in my life would I find that amount of money anywhere... It's will be just a dream. But if if find it i would definitely keep it.

Wow! That's a pretty big surprise! But given the situation, I would definitely return the money to the owner. I know it's a very tough decision, especially in my case who is under financial crisis. Yet, the issue is not on how I live but how the owner of this suitcase will live after losing everything he/she worked hard for. Even if I do keep the money, I will definitely be drowned in conscience. Personally, it's a win-win situation realizing that I've helped a person and at the same time, recognizing my contentment and satisfaction with what I just have despite of this very thing.

Good day!
I would return it to the owner. I don't need the money if I will just be chased by the police. Hahaha! There's nothing good than returning those things who doesn't belong to you. I would feel happy and glad to return it. It feels good to do tose things because rewards from God awaits you. :)

If i found this suitcase, it would definitely have to be some kind of a dream. Things like that just don't happen to me. I would surely be pinching myself to wake myself up.

Same as you, i will look for the owner if a tag is in there as to who owns it etc.
I may be able to buy a lot with such kind of money and be able to help others , but my conscience will be bothering me from day 1 until i return it to the owner. Nobody may have known that i found the suitcase with a $1,000,000.00 on it but God knows.
I will return it, and like you if i will be given a reward , i will accept it.
If i will not be given a reward, so be it. Perhaps God has something big for a reward for me.

I think I would have to think it through before I gave to the athorities. The reason is they might keep it for themselfs if after a period of time no one came to ask for it. I have found small bills before at work at turned them in , but never realy knew who the money went to.

If ever i find this suitcase, i will look delligently for its owner. But if i could not find the owner, then maybe the suitcase is for me. I wouldn't be stealing it right? So, it will not be bad.

I would start looking around for the camera crew from Candid Camera. If there was no camera crew I would bring the money to the police station and get a receipt for turning it into them. That way if the real owner doesn't come and claim it I might be able to get it, unless the police kept it for themselves that is :(.

I would turn it over to the police. Even if it contained an address it could be money illegally gotten and dangerous to return. It is never a wise decision to simply keep large amounts of cash you find sitting out somewhere it could be illegally gotten and get you prison time or you could find yourself surrounded by the police or FBI as you inadvertently stumbled into something (say a kidnapping pay off?). I would call the police from my cell and get them to come to the suitcase, and give them my information in case the money is actually legit and unclaimed as unless the law has changed that would mean it would go right back to me as the finder, definitely a nice deal.
