The black Nazarene feast was celebrated last Sunday, January 9 and as expected lots of devotees flock the city of Manila, specially the Quiapo area. Just a week after this, the feast of Sto, Nino of Tondo will soon be the talk of town. These two famous fiesta celebration are sure winners in claiming thousands of visitors not only from the Philippines but also of tourists. I'm glad the DOT people are supporting this kind of stuff in promoting our culture and traditions. Our love for fiesta can bring in dollars and it's time DOT make use of it and make us a tourist attraction again all over the world.

I am a devotee of Sto Nino in Cebu. Every year, I try my best to be in Cebu. It is very rewarding thing to go there and experience the real essence of the celebration. I have been a devotee for almost three years, and there is this thing that when it is on the procession, it will rain, and on the day of the Sinulog, it is very warm.

It's also gonna be the feast of our Sto. NiƱo next week and we call it Sinulog. This time of year a lot of tourist are also flocking in our city to celebrate it. Even if there is still a week before the feast day, a lot of hotels are already fully booked. I really agree that this time of year, DOT should really be promoting our culture and so many tourist will come and that would be more money as well..heheh.
Our government here are putting big posters and tarpaulins of the different beautiful spots of Cebu placed in the city where the street dance will be held. That way, tourist coming and celebrating with us will see the beauty of Cebu and will be eager to come back to visit these places.
