Telling children about the birds and the bees

What age should we start talking to our children about S-E-X? What are your thoughts.

Between ten and 12 and it shopuld be said in a manner that they understand the moralities of life , and at the same time not be bambozeled by what adluts do.

I am a mother of a 10 year old. I told her mostly when she asked, I explained about periods just recently and she took it pretty well. I think you don't have to go into alot of detail they usual get the picture.

When they start asking. There are books for young children that are great. Once you answer their questions..they move on to something else.

I think it depends on the maturity of the child in question. a parent only knows this as the child is with them. once again, with all the things on tv and the computer, usually they know more than we did at a young age
