aindnow Lying is a bad habit. But not all liers are crooked fellows. Some people cannot control their lies as it is a psychiatric disease. People like that should get a psychiatric consultaion for psychotherapy(not medicines)

aindnow Don't jump into conclusion just because of these thing. It could also be due to work and he may be stressed. The stress part could easily explain his behaviour. I think you should talk to him. Do not make him feel inferior but talk as though he is in control...
