Back on MyLot with a different purpose

When I joined MyLot two years back, I was a student to whom extra bucks earned on the internet seemed really cool. It so happened that I joined this place with an ambition to earn money, not out of an earnest longing to network with people. That I don't have this silly attitude is different but I was driven by a stupid force to join as many sites as I could and do nothing about them later. Anyway, I was probably active here for a couple of days, but got busy in the middle and TOTALLY forgot about this place. While cleaning my inbox this morning, I came across an email containing my Mylot particulars and was suddenly enthusiastic. I now earn enough money as a professional that i don't go around hunting for money-making sites that lure me into clicking the ads. More than the money, the people and their ideas matter to me now. It is a transition I wish every student undergoes without having to ignore the value of people. Anyhow, I am very glad I am back. I hope to contribute to MyLot in such a way that the community flourishes! Really look forward to the discussions. Thank you!

Welcome back to MyLot. I wish that more people would ignore the whole money-making aspect and concentrate on improving their writing and debating skills, polishing up their English (where necessary) and learning about other people and cultures on this globe! When the bit at the top that says how much you have earned is one of the last things you look at and the $10 or so in your PayPal account every now and again is just a pleasant surprise, then you have 'arrived', in my opinion.

welcome back... it is nice to see you again... well, i'm glad to hear that you are here not solely for the money reason anymore because that is not the main purpose of this site... ever since i joined this site until now, my sole purpose here had never been just to earn money alone... i have other better purposes here like making friends, learning new knowledge and having fun... take care and have a nice day...

I too came back on myLot after a layoff of 4 years. It's been an amazing experience this time around. I too have now kept the money factor aside and just concentrating on having nice meaningful discussions with people on myLot. So welcome to the bandwagon. Have fun. See you around.

Welcome back, I'm new to this site and hope to make some money from the internet. I'm doing this for a few reason's. The first is due to my illness and been an at home dad. I get frustrated at working and earning, so I'm trying to reinvent myself. I came to this site as I can socialse as well as make a little, although I don't think I'll ever be rich. I want to find something though that can bring in a little more than this site is doin, although I'm enjoying meeting new people and don't ever see me leaving here in the futre. It's quite daughnting trying to find was of making money over the net and having no products to sell. I've been advised to try blogging sites and maybe some advert sites. I'm also looking for a way of getting a qualification in IT as I'm finding that got some good skills with pc's, but not that piece of paper to take to an employer.

Welcome back to myLot! When I first joined myLot, I was in it for the money. But everyone knows that you can be myLotting all day and get very little for your efforts. In the first three months, I was really enthusiastic and hit minimum payout, but subsequently I realised it was hard work. But it was here that I learned about other ways to make money. I became more relaxed here. At times, I was just observing and not participating in the discussions. I was here to learn about a lot of things. And whenever I needed to know some things, I knew many would help me out.

Welcome back, as I hope you enjoy your time here. I know I have since I have been. I will admit though that the thought of making money really appealed to me, and so I came in with the attitude of making money and nothing else. Well, the longer I was here, the more I realized that it wasn't about the money at all, as it is about the knowledge that I can gain, as it is priceless. I have gained a lot of knowledge since I have been here, and I hope to continue that as well. I have also made lots of friends too, and I am so thankful for each and everyone of them. I am sure there are some that come in hee with the mindset of just making money and nothing else. Those people really are losing out, as it is about having fun and sharing with others while we are doing it. It it weren't for mylot, I wouldn't have learned all that I have in the short period of time I have been here, as it will be 2 years in April. My earnings have not nor will they from now on, ever compare to the knowledge. Take care, and happy mylotting.

This really goes to show that that you can't serve two masters at the same time. Welcome back and keep those discussions coming.

Same as you, I just got back I think two days ago. I'm learning a lot from MyLot and I do have to admit that I do this because I want to earn extra. I have a job and I'm very much happy with it. It's just that knowing that I can earn more thrills me. The best thing is, learning about other culture's perspective in life can't be bought anywhere else. It is earned by communicating with different people in different backgrounds and descent with different ambitions and pirpose in life. I'm proud to be a MyLotter! See you around!

Welcome back, and it is always good to have another one with this post to remind everyone that first have fun, contribute to the sea of knowledge. do what you love and then the money will come. And even if the money did not come, at least you had fun. Since you are no longer a student, I trust that you will have questions after questions in your working life. Throw a few lemons at us, and see how the community comes to back to you. And given that you are working, why not refer your colleagues into myLot and enrich this whole community. We await their registration. The rest of us are looking forward to your contribution too.
