Yesterday I met with my old friends in high school. We are planning to have a high school reunion this coming summer and we planning on how are we going to invite those batch mates we had during our high school years. So I guess the best way to search them is through social Networking sites, like Facebook. We all went to a computer shop and each one of us have a computer to search for those batch mates he have online. As we search Facebook, since pictures are flashing everywhere there, our search turns into browsing pictures of our batchmates. With those pictures we were able to classify who among our batchmates are wealthy enough for us to send some solicitation for the funding of our reunion. Well I guess being showy on their Facebook accounts makes them a good target for our solicitation letters. We just hope they can contribute enough for the funding of our reunion as we see them showing their fortunes in Facebook.

I don't like seeing people showing off like that it's also dangerous to do that on facebook. I hope you can get the funing you need to have a good and fun high school reunion!

I know people like that too. They tend to show off what they have but I really dont expect much from them cause it always happen that they just show off what they have but are too selfish to give something.

I do agree 101%. Most of those batchmate we saw in there who looks wealthy in their pictures never replied us. But before we send them solicitation e-mails they are very welcome to conversation.

Lol. I guess that is one of the consequences of being a show-off but somehow it is better than being targeted by kidnappers. I would like to know though, how can you say that someone is being a show-off? Does putting pictures of their real house and car classify them as being a showoff? I honestly don't think that it would classify them as showoffs unless they say in their accounts how much they bought this then they would be worthy of being called show-offs.

Hello! Just like you, our batch will also have a get together reunion this coming weekend and our batchmates who organized this said reunion uses Facebook as invitation for all of us who belong to this certein batch. One of our batchmate created a group in Facebook wherein all of us were being invited to join, so now, its much easier for them to locate and contact all of us. Well, like what you said, there's so many of our old batchmates who looks so wealthy now because of the pictures they posted in Facebook, many of them were already in other progressive countries and doing good in life because of the material things they've got plus so many destinations they afford to have. Thankfully, most of my batchmates were helpful enough to share their blessings to those who's in here. I am glad that even we're not classmates at all. If they know that our batch will soon have a get together, they're willing to shed off extra money to donate for us. ( Im talking about those who are now abroad and doing good there). I wish I could attend the reunion now, its a great feeling to see my former batchmates.

Yeah facebook helps us to connect to our old friends. It helps me to be still connected to my high school classmates even though we are far from each other. A great thumbs up for Mark Zuckerberg.
