hi, i dont believe that the number 13 is a bad luck or bad number, this belief only marked in the mind of people that is bad, number 13 is also a number like the others, so instead of bad number, i put it as lucky number.

Thirteen is an unlucky number, it's like a black cat walking in front of you when you are driving. I honestly don't know of any number being mystically magic. Thirteen...reminds of that horrid horror film...Friday the 13th. That's one of the scariest movies ever...No, nothing magical or mystical about the number thirteen as far as I can recall.

The only superstition I have is with walking under a ladder. Outside of that I have never given the number 13 a thought. Maybe when it was my birthday I felt it was a big deal. So in my opinion it is simply a superstition, I suppose.

Treating the number 13 as bad luck has Christian origins, it started with the popular belief that Jesus had 12 disciples and the 13th was Judas Iscariot who later betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver. The superstition was carried to various Christian and Catholic denominations especially during the Dark and middle ages and was carried over to the present.So when there is a gathering and if by coincidence there are 13 people present, then they will say it is bad luck cause one would betray or is a traitor, and it evolved to be just an unlucky number

I think it has something to it. When I was growing up people would always tell me to be careful on Friday the 13th but not any other day of the week that happened to be the 13th of that particular month. I don't know why there is a difference, but I have had friends go to jail on these Fridays as well as end up in the hospital. Many buildings in my country don't have a 13th floor! Or rooms that end in 13! People can believe what they want and I believe there is something to it. They wouldn't have made Friday the 13th a horror movie if there wasn't something too it.

It's just a number. If it weren't for humans, this number would not even have a name, let alone the superstition. Therefore, I'd say it only has the power we give to it. I don't fear any number. Actually, I have always liked Friday the 13th and always seem to have good luck on that day. Haha. Maybe it is because all the bad luck is preoccupied with all those who fear it. Then all that's left over for me is the good luck. :)

I think it's purely psychological. Not everyone is affected by the number 13. But we become more aware of things that we obsess about.

Lol i consider 13 as a very lucky number, becoz many good things happened to me on 13th of different months, i know a friend who lives in a house numberd 13, in the 13th street, he says he has 13 doord, windows, whether 13 is lucky or bad, it differs from place to place, religion..
