Hello ladies,
Our friends has never seen me with make up. Even for my boyfriend it's hard to realize that I use make up at all, because i like the make up to be something light and nearly invisible.
Tonight i decided to make heavy make up, with more colors and red polish. I believe that everyone will be surprised, because they know me from one year and they has never seen me with that way...
Do you use the make up to show one different side of your personality?

My smokey eyes is the highlight of my entrance at any evening
event.
My boyfriend is so use to it that at times if something last minute comes up he will say at such and such time to give me a head start.
What I especially like is that one I go somewhere and someone really never wears make-up and then I see how they tried to duplicate my look, makes me smile. Which tells me they like what they see.
I do enjoy wearing my eye makeup a bit heavier at times as I know it will accentuate and bring on attention.

That's what i was talking about - at times I feel good to be understood. Not for usual, not for every day, not for each going out, not the way i like it usually, just at times.
Aaand we got a winner for best response!
Thanks to all who joined the discussion, you got another present than best response from me
P.S. I haven't slept last night and today i'm bit lost, sorry for the strange icons :))))))))))

hi friend, " shock the public" do you mean in a good way or a bad way? hahaha, hope you uploaded your picture, guess there are plenty of beauty experts here at Mylot that can comment or give you a good advice, For me I prefer a girl with no make-up but that is only my own personal preference, so I am not speaking for the rest, maybe make up or the type of make up will depend on the type of work you do, again I do not know much

hi if I am going out in the evening I will play up my eyes nore and as
thedy are my best feature will use blue eyeshadow for blue clothes and green for green clothes as my eyes are blue green. other than that my lipstick will be a lavenderish pink very subtle as is the rest is
the rest of my make up.older women look garish in heavy make u p and it does not make us look attractive at all. rouge should be subtle also.

I giggled when I first read your discussion tittle. I assume it's a "bad" way to shock the public. I did it when I was younger, I used heavier makeup than usual and went out. I was glad because I didn't meet someone I know

You can usually tell how Im feeling by the make up I am wearing. If I am feeling happy (which is most of the time) then I will experiment with lots of different colours and looks. If I am feeling tired, then its just a brown eyeshadow and mascara for me. If I need a confidence boost but it is day time, then I usually wear a neutral but sparkly eyeshadow with liquid liner for the dramatic look. If I am feeling a bit down then I tend to make more of an effort with my make-up which usually means I have lots of it on, probably too much for the day-time but I feel better with it all on.
And if I have to get up very early in the morning then its simply foundation and mascara!
I actually look online for tips with colours that go together, so sometimes I will go out with a look I havent tried before and people think I have come up with the idea on my own and say how they wish they could figure out what colours will blend well together, I dont tell them I have cheated and found it on youtube lol!

Yes I do!!!Being a mum to five kids its hard to find time to do my makeup daily so i dont wear any at all,but when we are going out i do all my makeup and change my hair from straight to curly and everyone comments how good i look and how different it really makes me feel alot better about myself and is a fab confidence boost.

Hello, from a gentleman.
Wow, i would be very, very.. very surprised if my girlfriend is going to show up like you someday. Frankly, i would kinda scared! I never like anyone with heavy make no matter how good they look. And, if my girlfriend one day shows up with rainbow colours i would comment back on her, not like a compliment, rather something completely irrelevant, like my brain is not working? I never expect her to do that, because i know she is not the type and if she does, she would bring a shock to me. I have known her 2 years from now, oh wait more than 2 years and suddenly i would blush! :D

If my girlfriend one day shows up like that, i would rather be very excited for what she was thinking when she decided to that. Scared in the sense, i have never experienced that side of hers. I guess it should be funny. I like the natural and light make up much more.

I wear make-up for the office and for special occasions. But i don't wear them heavily though.
I would usually put on mascara on my eyelashes, eye shadow on my eyelids and a lipstick. I don't put blush-on because i don't look good in them.
So whether i use make-up or not , it is still me.

hi,
i only use heavy make up when i have an occasion or party to attend,
or in the evening, because it will last, and dont fade it,just only retouch and you will be fresh again.but when i use that in day of course people will shock with my heavy make up.
