I wanna take this opportunity to thank my mylot friends for keeping my discussions as healthy conversations as possible and for being a regular respondents. Have you ever thank your friends or respondents for coming over and leaving comments on your posts? Guidelines says Don't thank everyone that responds or comments on your discussion. This will not increase your earnings. How to keep regular posters?

I find that discussions here are just the same as conversations offline. I don't thank those who are talking with me until we get to the end of the conversation and that is the how I do things here too.
If I ask a question and someone answers here then I would never just say 'thank you' as it would seem out of place and could give the impression that I no longer wish to talk with them further so I wait for the right time to say it.
To some I have never ever said it because the right time is a long way away as we seem to have so many other things to talk about!

Hi there MD,
I often say those words but not to give them the impression of lacking interest to further the discussion. It's my way of appreciation actually. Got your point as I didn't know somehow by saying 'thank you' discourages the respondents to comment more.

hi lance I see noone has responded and I feel this discussion has broken a mylot rule. I think you should just send private messages'to your friends then you will not get anything deleted sorry if this'goes as I NEED my earnings and iam sure you do too.

Hi there Hatley,
It would be helpful if you provide me the link stating the rule have been broken so I personally check it for myself. If this will be deleted then you don't get earnings too as you are now officially part of this discussion. Anyway, I would want to have your opinion on how to keep regular respondents not only for my benefits but for the readers and posters of this topic.

I'm always glad to respond to discussions my friends started so long as they don't start too many a day. I appreciate starters who puts in effort to start meaningful discussions rather than starting dozens of useless ones. It's a turn off to see that many, yet not in the mood to respond. I like the way u start and the amount of discussions u start.

Frankly, the last few words are the ones I like the most in your comment hehe.
During my first week here, I started two discussions each day but nowadays sometimes none at all because when I think of good one it's either already taken or simply not complying to the rules. It's good to know your feedback. Thanks!

Everything we do here is not just for money. There is much more on this forum than just earn money. It is your moral obligation towards your fellow mylotters to thank them to take cognizance of your posts. I therefore make it a point to thank my respondents as far as possible. Sometimes it remains to be done because of time gap in posting and responses.
