We have several needs for communication. Sometimes, we need to call a person, while at times, we need to text only. We even have a plan for unlimited call or unlimited texts. which do you prefer? I guess, calling is more important for me, as I can relay a message more clearly. Aside from this, there is less stress on typing. However, this is more costly. How about you? Call or text?

Hi there.
I don't mind receiving a text or a call. For me, the message is more important. As long as I can perfectly understand the message, then, I have no problem even if it was sent to me through text.
However, I feel more happy when someone is calling me. It gives me the feeling that that person does not only want to convey the message to me but wanted to feel a connection between us. Hearing someone's voice at the end of the line makes it more personal or intimate. I'd rather hear my man saying i love you to me through his phone than reading the same message from him via text.

i prefer none. hahaha. i don't send text messages unless i received one first. i don't engaged to it as well for hours because it tires me and i don't have much time in a day as well. i don't call that much. i guess i only does once a week to my parents. i prefer chatting. it's faster and convenient for me.

i prefer to talk as much as i can because it is more personal and we can feel the emotions of the person we are speaking with from the voice... sometimes text messages can cause misunderstanding if we didn't put the right punctuation to our sentences... i encountered that many times before... that's why i prefer to talk directly... take care and have a nice day...

I would rather talk on the phone. Of course, I do not talk on the phone all that much but when I do, it is actually talking. Texting is something that I have never gotten into all that much. In fact, I find it a bit absurd when you really think about it. I would rather just talk, instead of text back and forth. Plus it does seem like its a waste of time when I can be doing something more productive.

Text is more suitable for multi conversation. Phone is better for one one one.

I find that text is alot quicker and less costly as you are not going to get into along chat and run up your phone bill I save calls for more urgent things or family and friend catchups.

I prefer calling over texting, but I have a friend that will text me at times to see how I am doing, but other than that, I talk on it. My daughter and I used to text a lot, but then we decided that talking is better, as we don't have to type what we want to say, as that takes longer, than just saying what we want to say. The only time I text her, is when I am babysitting the grandchildren, as my son prefer she doesn't call while I am watching them. I will text her and tell her not to call, as I will car her when I get home. I do talk to my daughter everyday, so if I texted, I would have lots of texts that is for sure. I do have an unlimited plan so that helps too. Take care, and have a very good day.

I use my phone for calling but since most of my friends and associates prefer texting, I have no choice but do some texting. I'm not good at reading text though, I always have a hard time understanding some text. Calling is still best for me!

I prefer the use of texting as a simple and cheaper way of communicating and keeping in touch with others. When I am at work, we are not allowed to use our mobile phones, and it is more obvious if i call someone. so, texting would be convenient and safer for me.

It depends on the situation. If I need to get information to someone quickly, I would text, but if I just wanted to chat with someone I would call. I don't believe in using texts as a way of killing time like many teenagers are doing today, but I also don't believe in not using a very important feature of a cell phone.

I prefer texting since I don't like talking over the phone a lot. Of course I would talk over the phone, but only on weekends I would talk a lot over the phone with my friends since I have unlimited weekend minutes. But mostly I text a lot cause I feel comfortable with it.

hi friend....
well, coming to me text or talk it depends on the situation. If I was in a bad mood i really want to talk to the people who really cares for me. And also in situations when i was in very good mood also i would like to to phone and talk my friends and relatives. And in such situations i will prefer to talk rather than messaging my friends. And also with my parents i will prefer talk only. Coming to general situations and my friends i would prefer messages only. And also when i was feeling bore i would prefer to messaging as it is good timepass for me..
Thank You friend...

I think that it all depends on who you are talking to. If it's just a quick message, text is the way to go, but I find it annoying when I see people texting back and forth, back and forth for hours on end. Just pick up the phone and use it for what it's meant to be used for, plus, you can say in 2 minutes what it takes half an hour to text. People are losing touch with each other and texting is near the top of the list of reasons for this.
