My husband sent me a text this afternoon (he is also at home) asking me if I want to go out. It was very sweet of him to do that. Anyway, we wanted to watch Angelina Jolie's movie "The Tourist". Well, I must say that I expected a lot on that movie. It was not what I was anticipating.
Have you watched the movie? What can youu say about it?

Hi jricky1! I guess it's okay if you didn't have a chance to watch it in movie house. You could still watch if on dvd. Yes, you are absolutely correct about her being beautiful. When I was watching the movie, I could not help but tell my husband how beautiful she is. She is like a doll.

I wanted to watch that movie because my professor said that it is a nice movie. He told us that he already watched it even though it is not yet showing on theaters. I wonder how he did that. But by the way I want to watch in now so that I could sahre my reviews for that movie.

hi there! I think this was already shown in the US last year. Maybe there are some pirated dvds that were already released.

I have heard about it and I have heard it has a twisty ending, my Mother in Law let the ending slip so I think that will likely ruin it for me, but she said all Angelina did was stand around and sit around and look pretty the whole time. I guess that is fine with me since I like looking at her, I will probably wait for the DVD though, since my mother law already ruined the ending.

hi thedaddym! Yup, it is better to watch it on dvd than to spend money in theatre. There is a twist in the story that I am somehow not that convinced. It is something that you would not think about for a week after you watched it.

I've only seen the trailer of the movie and had read some synopsis about it. I was actually planning to watch it tomorrow since tomorrow is my day off. I just want to ask, why were you disappointed with the movie especially since it stars Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, two of Hollywood's fine actors?

Hi penrockerchic! I was disappointed because I thought it was an action, mind boggling movie. There is a twist in the end that would surprise you. Again, I would not advise you not to watch it because you might be liking it. The movie "Salt" is way better than this one.

Well even I anticipated a lot on that movie but it's not worth watching. I expected lots of action sequences and stunts but nothing of that sort happened. I am a fan of Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp as well but i was disheartened after watching the movie. You can watch it if you want to but don't expect anything amazing ok?
Cheers!

hi there raviteja! I already watched it and we have the same expectations on the movie. I was really excited to go to the movie house because I also like Angelina Jolie's movies. Indeed, it is not worth to watch in a movie screen.

Yes he is really sweet. Please don't expect some stunts of Angelina Jolie in the movie. It is not what I am expecting. I can't say that you must not watch it. We all have different tastes on movies to watch.

Hi I have not watched the movie yet but I plan to see it when I am free. I am a big fan of Angelina and I usually watch every movie that she stars in. Thank you for your advice on not to expect so much from this movie.

In category Sinful Pleasures enter my unbounded passion for Johnny Depp, which is why I had very high expectations of the tourist, from the movie and the character.
Gloss film is a remake of French film Anthony Zimmer, "and do not know why I feel like the award winning version Hencker Florian von Donnersmarck (The Lives of Others") will have something, a hook to the public. They was not to be bored after 20 minutes spread with speed and precision German American.
The film does have an interesting building,: apparently, the action begins around for no reason and without giving too many details.
Everything revolves around a generic ladies named Elise (Angelina Jolie) followed everywhere by police. That could build suspense and story could have gone after this May with a soul.
But is not the case that Angelina Jolie is worn as if they were on the podium in a fashion, beating the gene and has no mersu 'leganatu'. The role did not suit her, it was for Sacha Grey for example, a role that is dry and shallow.
Angela Jolie tries hard to mimic a British accent and make the femme fatal change more dresses, and will hand through her hair in a flirty way to creepy. Her role is a little off here.
Johnny Depp and he is very little used, in a role as flat and without any bit of inspiration, is the role of an average Jack plimbacios without apparent target, nor is how to do something in this role.
It's an insane story, rather than credible claims and depth. Everything begins to bind somewhat in the middle of the movie, but once the story starts to crystallize is more than predictable. Twist in the end he is as weak, because let's be serious, all roads lead to Rome.
It's like James Bond met with Keyser Soze, got drunk together and wrote a book for children.

I didn't know what to expect before I watched the movie "The Tourist". The way the previews led you to believe that there was alot of action but when I watched it, there wasn't as much as I thought. Even though it was a bit slow in parts of it, I did like the movie. Especially the end.
