On one hand I totally agree. However, I do believe that success is possible without education some times (and I really hate to say that as an educator!). All of my brothers and sisters make as much as me or more and I am the only one with a college education!

This is true - no matter what we do in life we have to be willing and ready to learn to be successful!

There is some reason in what you say .Knowledge is power, experience is the mother of wisdom, but only these two points is not enough.Opportunity is also very important. As the saying goes,Man proposes,God disposes.

Yes, I believe that education with experience should bring one success, although right now my particular life would not mirror that thought. I have a degree, but I just can't seem to cut a break...it's been six years, and I still owe 35,000 in student loans...Success??? Not in my opinion.

Hello pit33pit,
For the most part I agree with this statement . For some though when there is not a lot of money it hard to get that college education which employers look for. College tuition getting higher and higher it getting to be too much for a lot parents and students or they are going part time and longer to get the education. Many are now going online to do there courses and it is cheaper or local community college.
Thanks and have a great day!
Sincerely Unique16

Nothing will ever match life experience however with a good education one can carry the experiences with much more common sense. Common sense seems to be a problem when one has no idea how to properly express themselves.

These are two important factors, I agree. But there are others also, such as luck, hard work, intelligence, charisma etc.
It's difficult to find a recipe to success, but the best things to do at the beginning of your career probably are getting a good education and trying to get as much experience as you can. But you must know how to take advantage of these things or else they'll prove completely useless. Finding a good balance between theory and practice is a good place to start. But nothing will "bring" you to the door of success, you'll have to get there yourself.

As we all knew that experience is the best teacher. I think while we're learning from school or university, such learning is also an experience for us. And on such situation, we also learn from our mistakes while learning a structured science. It could be better when learning and experiencing something new can be combined together into one method, it usually can make the learning much easier and more interesting. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I completely agree with this. Now gone are the days when the the companies used to prefer degrees. Now with the booming private sector. Now the companies they require experts who are experienced. So, I completely agree that education coupled with experience is very important to open the doors of success for anyone.
