I'm happy to say that I've paid off my Citi credit card in full as of this statement! I'm super excited to say that I'm actually making SOME lee-way on my credit card goal (goal to be out of credit card debt, that is). Now, I just have this pesky $800 1st Financial card and this even pesky-er $300 Victoria's Secret bill. And then my university overdue tuition, which I don't really want to talk about. (lol). I'm not trying to gloat but I'm really excited about it - it feels like a small weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Did you make financial goals for 2011? How are they going so far?

That's awesome! You're doing great. This year, we are going to pay off the remainder of our credit card debt and then pay for a car. It will be so nice to end the year debt free!

congratulations for being able to finish paying off one credit card... i'm sure you must be feeling extremely happy to be able to do that... i know how it feels to be in debt because i experience it as well... i have a mortgage and car loan and it is killing me... in the past, i also helped my hubby to pay off his credit card debts... and my goal is to be able to be debt free as soon as possible as well... take care and have a nice day...

Congratulations on getting rid of one credit card! I did that last year, and paid off my mastercard. Now I only have the visa, which is still going out of hand. But I have a number that I am trying to reach this year. I'm looking to get my outstanding debt on that visa below my target number. It's not going good, so far.

Like you, it is my goal this year to pay all my outstanding balance with one of the two credit cards i have. I am planning to file an SSS salary loan to pay it off in full. After i have paid it, i will have it deactivated. Then, i will also pay my other credit card at least half of the balance when half of our 13th moth arrives on June. I will not have it deactivated , but will only use it for emergency purposes.

I sure I. I promised that i would save more and spend less. So far i have saved a lot more money and spent so much less then i normally do. Not that i am a big shopper, but i would spend money here and there and little things. those little things add up and i no longer want those little things to add up unless they are adding up in my savings account!

Im also really excited to be paying off my credit card this year as well and to also be paying off one car this month. We have three cars and one will be paid off this month and so now we will have two more to go and we are hoping to have this all paid for by August or by the end of August. There fore we will be hoping to get our own house this year. This is my 2011 goal and im really excited about it all and really cant wait to see what else this year will bring for me. I know i have to keep working on the internet to make more money of course but everything always helps and i dont mind working on the internet to bring in more money. Have a great day and im glad you are so happy.

Hello maezee, Congradulations! I know how hard it is get get credits paid off. I am in the same boat only have one left. i paid off the other last November. I used this last one for Christmas gifts and tuition payment for my daughter who leaving this weekend for college. For younger people it is really hard with low wages and until you get a better job or more experience. Just keeping going and you will be free very soon. Thanks and have a great day! Sincerely unique16

Congratulations you should be happy. My goal is to have some money in savings. I have some and now the dog got hurt. Last time I had money saved our fridge broke. It can be hard but keep at it. It will be so worth it. I am just glad that we have had the money when we needed it.
