Who are better democrats or republicans?

Definitely Republicans Lets just look back at some of President Bush's accomplishments: Increased homeland security - there has not been one attack on America since 9/11, and our country is much more secure than it was Kept war on the outside, not inside Fought against terrorism as a main point of his time in office Captured Saddam, a major threat to the US and the world, and is pushing for Iraq democracy Our economy (except for here in Michigan lol) is currently booming - yes it started slow and went down during his first few years, but it's getting back up there Push for banning gay marrage - i completely agree with this one I don't agree with the Republican's view on not allowing stem cell research, let alone Bush's action of passing legislation not allowing it. However I do agree with all of the steps he has taken to make the country safe. These are just some of Bush's accomplishments, and this is only one Republican. Democrats just sit and talk about healthcare all day, and then raise taxes. Sorry, but I do not believe that working Americans should have to pay so that the poor can have free healthcare, while the poor sit and live off of welfare. Here in Michigan, Govenor Granholm, who sadly was reelected, put Michigan into a huge economic slump. We are 50th in the nation in jobs, and she still insists her plan is working lol - seems like a tunnel of optimism to me....

I think both are somewhat the same. All depends on the president. If he is capable and not like Bush then everything will be alright. I hope in 2008 america elects a dynamic and able leader. American preident desides lots of things. So it is kind of important for everyone.

I prefer Republicans in general, because their ideals are more in line with my own-- Athough I must admit that I like certain individual Democrats (I like known as the "blue dog Democrats") and I dislike certain individual Republicans (those who disgrace the people they are elected to serve by involving themselves in scandal).

I agree with you Democrats are better for this country. Look at when Bill Clinton was president, the country was full of jobs for everyone. just my opinion.
