Is it worth having a friend who has stabbed u in the back?

You are still referring to him as a friend man!! So no point going through such an intense thinking episode!! You clearly adore the kid!! Might as well enjoy your time with her even if that means listening to the friend being a jerk!! I mean why spend sleepless nights over a person who has no respect for you? Why live a difficult life just because someone else wants you to? If you care for the kid enough and you say you do then its not much of a sacrifice!! Hard, cruel words mine are but then this is an equally hard world wee live in!!!

There are a number of questions which come up. This "friend" is certainly not behaving like a friend. You must ask yourself the question, why are you attempting to continue this friendship? You say you adore his daughter. Is it possible that your feeling for the daughter has cut our friend out of the relationship. You build a relationship by being part of the persons life not a part of his children's life. Who do you realy want the friendship with, the man or his daughter? If it is the daughter, you may not win this one. Dad is working overtime to get you out of this life. If you want a relationship with the dad, you will need to work at it. It won't be easy as he has already got a bead on what you really want.

A back stabbing friend, is what you call a "NO-GOOD" one. Why would a friend back-stab a person, they supposedly call a friend? I would maybe treat them differently though if I knew.

you must talk to your friend regarding this matter, what ever the reason is you must listen to him.

We all know at least one person like this. Unfortunately this is the world we live in. In your case, a good thing comes with a bad thing. So you have a decision to make. Think about what you can live with and without: a person that gossip and betray you or a person that loves unconditionally? As I said before, malicious persons you can find on every streets but love is a rare thing. So take a while and decide and most of all, never regret anything. After all, everything is just an experience

I think that there will always be people that talk behind other peoples backs, as well as the people that tend to bad mouth other people.These are the people that we should all tend to avoid people like that as that way it do not give them the sattisfaction in stabbing us constantly in the back.
