Is Christina Aguilera a Good Actress or just a Good Singer?

I love her voice since the first time I heard her songs Genie in the bottle and I Turn to You. I've always wished to have her voice because let's be honest here though she really can't dance that much, she's got the greatest voice Mickey Mouse club ever produced.
I love the way she can reach those top notes without a miss. But I've watched Burlesque and well I'm impressed as always with her voice but there's something missing... with her acting... I guess its her soul... she didn't bare any... and although she can act as you can see.. well there's no depth I guess with her performance. How about you guys? Is she a good actress or just a good singer? For me she's not just a good singer but a great performer but her acting still needs a little more polishing I guess.

I agree with you. She's not that good in dancing and acting but when it comes to belting out her songs you bet she can give her best and all. I've checked her moves in the movie Burlesque and sometimes her dancing isn't that fluid but nevertheless she's really beautiful and can sing very well.

Those can sing, can't act, and those can act, can't sing. Only a minority of them are able to do both well, such as jamie foxx and will smith. It's the same for jennifer lopez, she can sing, but she definitely can't act. HEr acting and facial expressions are too stiff. It's good for them to branch out to other areas for a try, but if they can't make it, it's best to return to their roots, and do what's best for them.

for me jennifer lopez is a dancer and fashion designer..those are her main talents where she truly shines. she can sing too but that really that amazing..she can act a bit though not the best or award winning..different people have their talents where they are strong and truly shine..some can act and sing..but can't dance..some can dance but not really an awesome singer..that's just how it is..

She would have been great if she was in more musical movies- like 9 and CHicago.

i think christina is good singer than actor. Her voice is rally great and i love to listen her
