fighting..,,,at cellphone text messages.......

No I have not had this misfortune but if I did I would immediately tell the person to stop if they insist, I would immediately call my cell phone company and have the person's number blocked. I hope you know you can do this as they will do right away.

I remember that my sister used to received hate message before, saying that she's an idiot, and of course other stuff like that. She try to ignore it at first, but the message continue for about 3 days. I really feel bad, knowing someone is doing that to my sister without even knowing her at all. What I did, is I used my cellfone and call the number. A girl answer, and I was really mad that time and ask her on a very rude way why she's texting my sister that way. We doesn't even know the girl, the nerve of her. And then she drop the call, I tried to call her again but she off her cellfone. I've been calling her for about a week just to give her, her own dose of medicine, for her to know how does it feel like to received hate messages or call. And thank God she no longer bother my sister and I stop giving her a call too.. hehhe

Hi. asliah. I have never actually fought through a text message. But there was a case that happened in the summer of 2008. It was about someone that kept on calling my cell phone number constantly leaving crazy text messages as if they were trying to reach someone in particular. They also left odd voice messages too. So I kept on telling the person that they have the wrong number and that they need to stop calling my number. I threatened to call the police on them. I also have tried to track down the Cell Phone company and see if they could trace this call by the number that they kept on calling me from. I had no luck on this end. They still would not stop, so I consulted the police station about this and an officer took down my cell phone number and they called this other person for me. I have not heard anything from this person ever again. I still have this same phone number but my cell phone has been deactivated for so long until I need to reactivate my phone service again. When I do so, I will make sure that I change my cell phone number, and hopefully I won't get anymore annoying phone calls from a pathetic stranger! I also made a discussion at myLot about this, because it was just that serious! I was also scared because the calls kept on calling at night and my husband wasn't home also. It made me feel very frightened!

Me, I try not to let it get to me. But sometimes when I do feel that I need to fight back, then I do. If it's someone just pranking and just picking a fight, then I just ignore it. But if it's someone I know and saying mean things to me, I text back.

Hiya asliah, I don´t bother with them because apart from the fact I don´t know who they are now just lately they are very few and far between too thank goodness for that. I never challenge them and let them get on with it. I would often receive a message like you did not turn up last night and so on. So I assumed it was for someone else obviously that they had got the wrong person. Nevertheless they did keep it up for a time and I just thought okay go and waste your time and money if you want. End result I would delete all the silly messages. They surely must have known that it was the wrong number that they were sending it too. But hey even if I did know the Person I would still ignore them anyway.

I haven't experienced it since I really ignore those that are not registered in my phonebook. I don't like texting people whom i really don't know. It's much better if you ignore them, they will only ruin day.

i think what u have done is u should have ignored this person totally because engafing in such a bad conversation or incident is totalll pointless.. if possble inform the celluar company which provide the service so they can take necessary actions aginst this woman. and i wonder this is a womam, can be a man hiding his identity

hi i had fighted many time through smsing with my friends. generally we do fighting through smsing in night otherwise everybody will disturb. this incident also once happened with me. some stranger always sms me 'who r u'. this msg come to my mobile more than 50 times aday. i was so frustrated and called him. first he refuses to attend my phone. then he attended and i started shtig on him abusing him and then he apologize me. and now he is one of my friend.

Hello asliah.. I understand what you've felt because no one can felt happy if someone received messages like that. Better reply that person and ask what wrong her/him so that you know what its all about. and if that person didn't stop annoying you better change your simcard to avoid stress and worry in life. I've also encountered the same as you but those people who tried to scam me, they text that my relatives have send a balikabayan box to me and before I get the details, I'll be the one who called him. You know what? I report that number to the Smart Tel to block that number.

I have never experienced a person like that. I think it is crazy that sending message to stranger only to say bad words. They must be insane. If I receive message like that for once, I will probably ignore it, but if that stranger keep doing this to me, I will go to the wireless service to complain about this. Seriously, I may charge that person!

No, I won't do that, it's only wasting my precious time. Besides, if I don't know the person, forget it. There are lots of things to do in a day. Use your time wisely and don't engage with this nonsense matter.

i also encountered someone who did the same with you..and since i don't know who's texting, instead of having fight with him, i usually ignore his text and just stop replying with his text..i won't stoop down to his level 'coz only uneducated person did that dumb thing.. :)

i've been through this situation. it's best to be levelheaded about it. just prove that you are way educated and civilized.

YEs... My ex and I usually fight through texting. He is not really vocal upfront but he does say alot in text and I really hate it when we're fighting in texting but its all over though..

Well no I have never been in a cellphone text message and if I was and I didn't know who the person was I would just ignore them because if I replied I would feel like I was giving in. So I rather just ignore it, but that's me. When someone says bad words through text they are really doing it in a cowardly way because instead of through text they don't really have what it takes to say it to ones face. Other than that who cares ignore the texts if you ever get more like that it's just not worth it.

I will just let them waste their money.I do not know them so why should I bother?Why should I reply the messages? No point to argue through SMS.Perhaps there is something wrong with that woman.If she dare enough and do really know you then she should meet you face to face.

I just ignore this kind of text fights. It's not worth of my time and my load.. Don't entertain this kind of ext, just delete it without reading , if she keeps on sending text,let it be, she's the one at the losing end, losing time and money!

Hello friend sometimes received unpleasant text messages in my mobile but most of them I ignored because I have no benefits to fight back. yes i also saw this problem.my friends always give me bad word message and then i return to just that like of bad words. then he again send me and i again send him.so a fighting were held in front of us.. but sometime messege sending more...
